Scrooge McDuckParticipantThis is off the top of my head. I’ve only watched college basketball off and on over the last 8-10 years. I don’t mean to insult anyone if I forget or have never seen them play.

Lotto StudParticipantThere’s no stipulation behind who you select. That does not have anything to do with each other’s placement or lack of placement in this. It’s just your personal favorites that you feel dominated. It’s not as easy as it appears to be from initial glance of my list. Any effort is better than none in my book, whether you are knowledgeable or not. Just to be clear, leaving Derrick Rose off speaks a volume, because he’s my favorite player.

Evan_MilbergParticipantYou have Melo twice 🙂
Shoutout the ‘03 Syracuse team. One of the all-time underrated squads.

ThenilonatorParticipantThis is in no way the most dominant list but rather a team out of people that no one has mentioned:
G – Steph Curry
G – Bobby Hurley
F- Adam Morrison
F – Jared Sullinger
C – Marcus Camby
Luke Harangody – Andrew Bogut – Dajuan Wagner – Antwan Jamison – Shane Battier

Evan_MilbergParticipantThis is way harder than putting together an all-time NBA list. +1 for a fun, challenging thread! I’ll take a stab at it with a few caveats:
1) No one-and-done players from ‘06-present. I think it’s important to distinguish freshmen phenoms who went to college because they had to from players who had the option to declare for the draft out of HS and didn’t.
2) Champions and Player of The Year winners only: This sounds unreasonable, but think about it. If the point is to make a DOMINANT team, why would you include someone that didn’t reach the highest level of individual or team success at the college level?
3) No players from before 1960: The game has evolved a lot and, no offense to the old timers like George Mikan, but it takes a lot more athleticism and talent to play in the modern era.
My list:
First Team
G – Pete Maravich G – Michael Jordan F – Larry Bird F – Christian Laettner C – Lew Alcindor
Second Team
G – Magic Johnson G – David Thompson F – Carmelo Anthony F – Ralph Sampson C – Patrick Ewing
Third Team
G – Isiah Thomas G – Austin Carr F – Larry Johnson F – Danny Manning C – Bill Walton

Ahkasi ClayParticipantYou have to find a spot for Walton, what UCLA did while he was there is never going to be matched.
