He just signed with the Hawks. Just a quick fact, VC’s NBA career is older than rookie Trae Young. Honestly, I would’ve expected him joining a contender to get that elusive ring at this stage but I guess just doing the things you love (which is play basketball to him) is what matters more than winning an NBA Championship. Still hats off to VC.

It’s going to be weird not seeing VC in a Kings jersey.  Can’t believe he’d leave them before the brink of Bogdanovics mvp years. Can you imagine if Carmelo would have stayed?  The hawks would’ve been favorites in the east.

This makes the Hawks legit contenders.

he was announcing summer league and his partner asked what he is looking for in this free agency period. VC said the only thing he is looking for is playing time. I’d assume he went into this year with the same outlook.

He just loves playing basketball. He’s definitely no ring chaser. That made me like him even more.

Vince just legit enjoys playing and if it keeps him happy then great. The fact that he can still get onto a new team’s roster at 41 says something. I know Manu and Dirk are turned 40 but they are one team men and Dirk is nearly 18 months younger than VC which is quite a bit in basketball terms at that age.

Vince I’m sure could have got a bench ride on a contender when he ceased to be a legit NBA starter a few years back but it seems he likes playing time so lets look forward to another year of Vinsanity and a few more legendary dunks.

He doesn’t have to ring chase per say but I would’ve like to see VC play meaningful minutes for a team like okc , Houston or The Wizards

Can’t wait until he’s in the Big3 in a couple years, he’ll be putting all those old out of shape dudes on posters.

Vince Carter is legendary with or without the ring. No one will care if he has one 15 years from now, even if he were to snatch up one on the way out the door.
