I get the feeling they are going to give Kawhi as many shots as he wants all year. Like it will be Kawhi Option A Kawhi Option B then maybe Lowry Option C.

I also think that he’s going to reject this role and pass away scoring opportunities to save himself for an LA team next year. Just a hunch.

Is Kawhi really going to take a punt back to back years of his prime away just to be in LA or will he ball out like they are envisioning him?

I am going with ball out. Being the king of the East will be fun (just ask Lebron).

the Truth is NONE of us Know what happened – Including & Especially the Media who seem to just flat out lie half the time to keep up w/ the 24 hour news cycle that must be fed

So I don’t understand the idea that Kawhi would basically "Tank" or throw away next season to get to LA.

Kawhi Leonard is a Professional & by the way he plays Defense & gives 100% every time he steps on that court we Know the man has Integrity

So I expect Kawhi to have a Monster season in Toronto & then next Summer he will field offers & make his decision then. There is No better Leverage for a player than to perform at Super Star levels & that ius exactly what I expect from Kawhi

B/c if Kawhi is healthy he IS the BEST player in the East. I understand Kyrie Irving, Greek Freak, Joel Embiid & Ben Simmons are all growing into Super Star status but Kawhi IS a Super Star AND a Champion AND a Finals MVP & he will display that next season in Toronto

side not I Really feel for Demar Derozan & I do hope Toronto can convince Kawhi to sign long term b/c it will be a tragedy for Raptors fans if they lose Derozan – a perennial All Star who actually LOVES Toronto for just one year of Kawhi – but either way I really hope it works out for Derozan in San Antonio!

Kawhi has been discussed constantly over the last year but I think the part that’s most interesting is that this is over a quad injury. Kawhi has had a history of quad troubles, played 9 games this season, was cleared to play but wasn’t at this best. He has kept rehabbing ever since. Is this iteration the worst quad injury in NBA history or is it something less that that? I honestly have no idea and really can’t evaluate this in any way.
