    …Toronto! If Carmelo Anthony decides to head out East to chase a ring, Toronto makes the most sense to me to where he will not be as disruptive with what’s already in place.

     Carmelo Anthony should head to…the bench. His perfect role at this point is 6th man scorer unfortunately I think he’ll fade out of the league faster than he should, like AI, because he refuses to come off the bench.

     the only place he has any value at this point. He is unplayable in the NBA.  He is basically a poor shooting Doug McDermot. Talent disappears a lot faster without work on your body.

      I’m not entirely disagreeing with your premise, but to me Anthony is a ball stopper and Doig McDermott is more Kyle Korver or James Jones than Anthony.

      Anthony dominates the ball, and I hate to kick a guy when he is down as this has been beaten to death, but his problem as an NBA player is that the ball stops when he gets his hands on it. He wants to create shots, mostly for himself, regardless of what it does to an offense or how much time, effort and energy it takes to create the shot and regardless of whether or not it’s a good shot.

       

       McDermott doesn’t rebound and doesn’t defend, so in that way he might be similar to Anthony, but he doesn’t need the ball, doesn’t dominate the ball, and mostly catches it and passes it to someone else, or catches it and shoots it.

    Philly, Portland, Houston and Lakers.

    But he has to realize what is now. He is third or 4th option best on each team. More of a catch and shoot guy and some post ups. He has to buy in on team defense as well. Hope he can end on a good note and not like Iverson and be stubburn

     Talks about going to atlanta fro schroeder.  The hawks will then buy him out and he can choose any team he wants.

    He needs to come off the bench for 15-20 mins a night and know his role, otherwise he will end up retried or in china
