LeBron is here to raise the Lakers

The Lakers are for sure not winning a championship. We can all agree, right? A lot of people think LeBron’s a family man and sacrificing professionally. I don’t think so.

No one is beating the Warriors. Not this year, not next. Maybe once the cap penalty gets too crazy, they get broken up. In three years? Maybe LeBron figured that there was no team that could beat them even with his help (which sounds uncompetitive, but is maybe just smart).

If he was looking for teams to win on 3 or 4 years, the Celtics, 76ers, and Lakers make sense. I’d have picked the Celtics, but I think the Laker core will work for LeBron. They are very unselfish, hard workers, smart, and most importantly for him, malleable.

I think he wants to raise a team his way. He’s asked for scouting reports on them (so has Rondo, though). He wants to show them all how to play with him. That might be smart.

imma say it right now, they’ll be better than the OKC Thunders next year and might be better than expected.. Every1 is whinning about them having no shooting to surround Lebron.. Kuzma, Hart, Wagner, KCP, Ingram all can shoot and can be on the floor at the same time. Even Lonzo got hot from 3 near the end of the season before the injury..

  I’d be willing to bet that OKC has a better record than the Lakers. Hell, I’d be willing to bet that several Western teams do.

While I think the move was made first and foremost because it made sense for him from a business and family perspective, he has to be intrigued by the potential on their current roster and their ability to add free agents in the future. If he didn’t think he had a chance to win with the Lakers, there is no way he would have made a long-term commitment. Magic is also one of the few people on earth that has actually walked in lebrons shoes, and can relate to him and his ambitions as a player and overall icon in a way that very few could.

I’d never count out a Lebron led team to win it all, I’ve seen this guy do way too much crazy shit on the court.

The most interesting part of a Lakers title run would be seeing LaVar attempt to give Lonzo all the credit.

Lakers will make the playoffs, but without any deals they are not a contender for the title this year. Here is how I see there rotation shaking out this year. Below is their starting and backup 5, but I think the lineup the Lakers will give the most minutes too this year together are Lebron, Kuzma, Ingram, Pope, Ball.
