Orlando could definitely use Marcus Smart to add with their core.

It’s worked out very well for Marcus being drafted by Boston, he definitely deserves more money than the Celtics will be willing pay, but he’s a dog on defense, I can see him playing elsewhere, Orlando isn’t that place

The Magic need a G with size and outside shooting, if he can defend his man that would even better…

This is gonna sound crazy but I think the Lakers should trade Lonzo Ball for Nik Vucevic

Vucevic could be a Kevin Love lite in LA, a big that stretch the floor and rebound, the Magic get a G with size and defensive potential, plus he can create for Gordon, Isaacs and Fournier…Obviously more pieces would have to be involved on both ends, be it bad contacts/draft picks/players

IDK lemme know, a Ball for Vucevic trade with other pieces included

I think it helps Lebron recreate the Cavs roster in LA

Rondo is the George Hill, savvy vet defender, except Rondo turns it up a notch in the playoffs, Bradley would have made so much more sense in hindsight

KCP is JR without the alcohol And moments of stupidity

Lebron will be Lebron and get his 25 8 8
Melo likely gets signed by the Lake Show after the buyout, starts in place of Jeff Green at PF
Vucevic, plays the Kevin Love role as pick and pop option and rebounder, Mcgee comes in the protect the rim and hustle for boards off the bench in a Tristan Thompson role
Lance will be the Shumpert style defender and play maker off the bench, brings that JR Meme Factor too
Kuzma can play the Jeff Green role as scorer off the bench, may even take Melo’s starting spot eventually allowing Melo to be that instant offense guy, if his ego allows it…

Brandon Ingram is the odd guy out honestly, he plays Lebron’s position, is in that Wiggins situation where his best spot is the SF but his team wants him in a different spot, he’s too slim to play PF unlike a guy like KD, IDK if Lebron can sit back and hope this kid gains 25 pounds and becomes KD 2.0 by year 2…James has got to win at least 2 more rings to even tie Kobe, he’s way behind the 8 Ball here LA

I’d pass on this if I’m LA. While I don’t hate the fit of Vucevic on the lakers, Lonzo’s best years are ahead of him. Keep him, or target someone with more 2 way potential in a trade.  Plus Nik is as good as gone from the Magic next year since he’s in the last year of his contract. They drafted his replacement in Bamba

Keep Lonzo and sign Vuc the following season if they want him. Nik can carry on the tradition of Orlando centers heading west to LA in their primes…. lol

The Celtics haven’t rushed into giving him an offer sheet but I doubt Ainge would let him walk for nothing unless someone gave him a huge offer sheet. With what Exum and Lavine have got we can guess what Smart’s ballpark figure would be,

The fact no one has given him an offer sheet probably means they feel Celtics will match. The Kings had a go at Lavine might they try likewise with Smart if only to force Boston’s hand one way or the other.

I would argue Smart is more valuable than Lavine but Lavine is seriously overpaid at 20mil/year. He may be the worst defender in the league. 4/60 or 3/45 for Smart seems reasonable.

I think he’d be a very good fit with Jrue Holiday to be honest. I don’t know if the Pels have the money, and they desperately need a 3 and D  small forward, but Smart, Holiday, mystery 3 man, Mirotic and Davis would be a very tough unit.

i think in todays market, 15 mil per is a little higher then i would want to go. Just hard to trust him on the court with his offensive decsion making. But this is a weird summer with couple guys getting paid handsomely while others are strugglig to find peanuts(by nba standrards) I mean anyone want to convince me that favors is worth double julius randle? Or that Kyle anderson should make more then what a lot of guys are going to end up getting? Hard market this summer.
