     Lebron James has opted out of his player option and is now a free agent to the surprise of no one. Let the madness start.

     I really think the madness starts with Paul George. If PG re-signs with OKC, that will force the Lakers to up the trade value for Kawhi. Lebron won’t make a decision until he knows who is going to LA. LA does NOT get Lebron until someone like PG and/or Kawhi signs first.

    Can you imagine if PG does resign with OKC and the Spurs trade Kawhi elsewhere? Lebron definitely doesn’t go to LA. LA ends up with nothing would be a real laugh.

     well to me it says he’s not going back to Cleveland. The destination remains unclear until PG makes a decision. Still think the Sixers are in play with the Lakers being heavy favorites

       I doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t go back to Cleveland. He will just sign a longer deal if he does. They can still offer him more than anyone else can, although I’m not sure how much he really cares about that at this point.

      It does pretty much mean that he won’t be going to Houston or Boston as those teams don’t have the cap space to sign him outright and would need him to opt in to complete a sign and trade.

     and not a penny more, haha.

    All joking a side how do the Lakers build a better team than the Cavs? I don’t see how LeBron and Leonard is better in the deeper West. Not if Leonard requires trading all your good young players.

    I’d like for him to stay on the Cavs. So I can watch my Celtics kick his butt for the tail end of his career.
