BostonCs FanParticipantThis will be an interesting offseason, due to the uncertainty of where Lebron will be playing next season. I’m in the belief that if Ainge and the crew set up a meeting to pursue Lebron that he will sign with Boston. Jalen Rose said something that took me awhile to really think of, which is do you really believe there’s a team out there that Lebron can sign to with the exception of golden state or the Boston Celtics that would give him a chance of a title? Sure people would say Houston as they only came a game away from making it the finals and the addition of Lebron could get them over the warriors. But adding Lebron would mean letting Capela walk who was a huge part of Houston’s success this season. All it would take to get Lebron to Boston is moving Hayward contract and maybe even marcus Morris, therefore Boston wouldn’t really be hurting the core that brought them to game 7 of the eastern conference finals. I know Lebron has been saying that his next free agent move will be based on what his family wants but I’m just not buying it. I think he will go to whatever team he fills he can win with. I don’t think there’s a better destination for him than Boston. Obviously there are questions and uncertainty when it comes to his relationship with Kyrie. So my question to you guys is where do you think Lebron will go? and what is his best fit?

HobbyOGParticipantLakers..Per Dwayne Wade…
sports.yahoo.com/dwyane-wade-lebron-think-point-115724346.html
Lakers..per his kids being enrolled in LA schools in the fall…
lonzowire.usatoday.com/2018/06/10/lebron-james-sons-rumored-to-be-enrolled-in-l-a-schools-next-year/
Lakers..because dude has two houses in Beverly Hills, one he bought for $21 mill and his recent for $23 mil, within the last six months…..Buying houses that big, that close and not live there full-time is strange.

I think he wants that entertainment money..he has a production company has a couple shows on TV, KD is loving the tech boom in the Bay Area, I think Bron wants to love that Hollywood industry.

220ParticipantThe article says it’s a complete rumor that LeBron’s kids are enrolled in LA schools.

FrankTheTankkkParticipantClippers!
If they move a couple contracts they can get it done.
There have also been reports that Balmer doesn’t care about the luxury tax.
Probably won’t happen, but I think it would be dope

goddagParticipantI think with everyone saying LeBron is going to LA, people are assuming he will because he has a house there. But he’s looking to win another title he’ll have a better time doing that with about 4 or 5 other teams other than LA. They don’t have the other two super stars to go with him like Houston, Phil, or even Clev, would have.
So if we all think his next goal is to win more champonships, I don’t see him going to LA.

Evan_MilbergParticipantIf Kyrie could get past his disdain for living in LeBron’s shadow and the Celtics don’t feel like trying to make it work with Hayward, I could see LeBron going to Boston. I think those adds are slim, though.
I think as Hobby OG stated, between the glamour of Hollywood, his real estate in LA and his kids going to school there, the Lakers have a strong case. However, I can’t see how LeBron and Lonzo could co-exist in the same offense. Even if they did make it work, I still think their main pieces (Ball, Kuzma, Ingram) are still at least 2-3 years away from being ready to seriously contend for a title. I’m not sure LeBron will have the patience to help the young guys learn how to win.
Philly is an interesting option too, but once again, I can’t see LeBron’s game meshing well with Simmons. LeBron would still get his numbers, but I could see Simmons regressing in that scenario by constantly needing to defer to LeBron. Furthermore, what Philly really needs is to acquire options on the wing either through the draft (Knox or Mikal Bridges), free agency (PG13) or both.
The Rockets are a more likely destination if LeBron thinks he can make the chemistry work with Harden and CP3. However, I think it would be a lot like LeBron’s tenure in Miami, where they won a lot of games off talent alone in year 1, but they weren’t able to fine tune their chemistry and win the whole thing until year 2. LeBron’s not getting any younger.
So ultimately, I think LeBron ends up staying put in Cleveland. He means too much to the city to leave them twice. Yes, the talent around him is less than stellar, but he has a rapport with them. Had JR Smith not decided to leave his brain at home in Game 1 of the finals, the momentum of the series could’ve been completely different and we may not be talking about a sweep. The potential for them to win it all is there. They just need to drop the dead weight, add a real contributor with the 8th pick, and stay healthy.

BasterdInABasketParticipantMilwaukee. Giannis-Middleton, best trio he’s been apart of.

XYRYXParticipantGood point that Boston or the Warriors are the only true alternatives for him besides the Cavs where he can expect to go to the finals but I think it’s more complicated than that.
The Lakers of course are also in the mix with all the hollywood money but first of all I also believe he will at the roster and sorry LA, this is not enough in the west even with PG following there.
I don’t really buy the Boston scenario cause there are two major problems: #1 Kyrie. He just left LeBron and I don’t see any scenario where Kyrie is cool with LeBron joining this team and even Ainge doesn’t seem like a guy who trades away Kyrie at this point to make room for LeBron even if this might be the most realistic scenario if LeBron really wants to come there. #2 is Hayward. While a package of Morris and Hayward might be kind of fair in any trade to the Cavs and is better then nothing when LeBron just walks I really don’t see any Stevens beeing cool with that. We all know the Stevens and Hayward bond and on a side note we all know how LeBron sabotages coaches and front office decisions and Ainge and Stevens both for sure pass on this.
The Houston idea is still appealing but it only works if Houston gives away the whole roster via trade or if they let Capela and others walk which will be stupid not to mention the whole west situation.
I think LeBron will just opt in for next season and will give this team another chance. Maybe he will ship out JR or even Love but in all honesty this organisation is the only one where he holds this much power and this aspect should not be overlooked.
There is one more scenario where LeBron might take the KD route to sign for (significant) less then the max with some team but I don’t really see this happening but maybe he realized what KD did helped the Warriors tremendously money wise.

XYRYXParticipantoh forgot about the Sixers. Their financial situation is kind of unique for a east team and so pretty sure he gives them a very strong look and the Simmons – James relationship is also known but I don’t see Simmons and LeBron working out at all. This might be another Kyrie/LeBron situation but even worse and sorry but we still don’t know if JoJos knees can keep up with his ambitions.
To me this is not the situation LeBron is looking for at this stage

cohenbc1ParticipantI swear every year someone is rumored to be going to the Lakers or Heat because they own houses in those areas. As if no super-rich person has ever bought property in those places just to have a spot to crash.
Also rich people do this thing called "investing in real estate."
