BleedGreen808ParticipantBrett Brown will be the interim President of Basketball Ops. That should be interesting with the draft 2 weeks from now and free agency in less than a month.
Also Chris Mannix is reporting that the law firm doing the investigation tracked the accounts back to Colangelo’s wife.

220ParticipantI didn’t expect Brett Brown to oversee basketball operations in the interim, but it makes sense. It would have been difficult to add a new GM before the draft so placing Brown in charge does make sense. I wonder how or if this will affect the war room on draft night and if Brown will be tentative or surprisingly aggressive.
I’m not surprised that Bryan Colangelo resigned rather than being fired. I figured thanks to his Dad he would be given the choice to resign instead.

220ParticipantIs it even possible that Hinkie would return? It just seems to be unbelievable, but it makes sense since Hinkie is almost entirely responsible for today’s 76ers roster. I’m not opposed to the idea, I just think Hinkie would need to surround himself with bright basketball minds along with his analytical staff. The one thing you can say is there would be little chance Hinkie would have been tricked by Danny Ainge last year prior to the draft. He would have stayed at 3 and likely still would have had a chance to take Fultz.
