     Just a very simplistic observation/question.

Why would you even have Kyle Korver on your roster if you have 4 or 5 guys in every game taking more threes than him?

His minutes and numbers are down against GS but generally i thought he did quite well in the postseason.  With Lebron either shooting or dishing they need a 3 point team – Love, Korver, JR Smith etc.

Korver shot 44% reg season and 43% on 3’s in postseason.  They got him for next to nothing and only paid him $5mill this season and $7 for the next one so not too bad.

Kyle is a shooter who is there to help spread the floor when LBJ is drawing double teams so it would make sense you get the ball to him and give him enough shots. His shooting is obviously his strong point having lead the league in 3 point success rate 4 times and holding the league record in this.

But maybe he is a shooter who is only used in certain spots despite being one of the greatest 3 point scorers ever he averages below 10ppg across his career so hasn’t taken as many shots as other guys do.

But if he is on a team, you need to play to his strengths.

He did decent last series..the real question is why have you had Hood on the bench the first two games??? The only other person on the roster who can create his own shot. Bad coaching.

Korver is no doubt an all world shooter but he is also a limited player and not someone who can create his own shot and is reliant on other players to get open looks. Golden state has defended him well when he has been on the floor and he just hasn’t had many open looks from 3, which is why he isn’t taking many. Even though he is a smart defender, he is limited athletically and difficult to hide against golden state. While I agree that Cleveland should maybe run some more stuff to get him going, you can’t really do that at the expense of your overall offensive flow. The truth is, this just probably isn’t a series where he can have much of an impact.

The Cavs ran into the perfect team.

Javale McGee has been killing it at center.  Jordan Bell is serviceable as an active, bouncy big with a solid motor.  Now, Iggy is back and gave them some high quality minutes (on both sides of the ball) last night.

And, I think Livingston has only missed one shot.  12-13 in the Finals or something crazy…

They are only about 7 1/2 deep but MAN they are AWESOME at the top end of their roster.

I don’t understand why JR is getting double his minutes in this series. Korver has been better on both sides of the ball
