cavairo7ParticipantSo it seems to me that for the past 10 years, a majority of ppl’s mock draft have the Pacers selecting a point guard in the first round and they never do. Is this the year that the Pacers finally draft one?

BallerScriptParticipantI’ve noticed that they haven’t done any pre-draft workouts when at this time last year they had already completed workouts for some first rounders
This leads me to believe that they could either trade the pick or select an international player

RUDEBOY-ParticipantCollison, Lance & Joseph have done a solid job collectively holding that spot down. I like that each guy brings something different. If they don’t trade the pick, I see them going BPA. Brown of Miami could be a sleeper. Donte and Brunson might still be on the board. Duval might need some time to develop. I like his upside.

festar35ParticipantNah I honestly think we will be trading that pick this year.
If we keep it I think we go for a shooter at the SG spot, most likely Gary Trent Jr or Donte DiVincenzo or Kevin Huerter

OhCanada-ParticipantKeep the pick. They have a good team that is functional and cooperative. Teams like that usually get the most out of thier young players and create good enviroments for prospects to develop in. Not much trade value with the 23rd pick other then potential cap relief.

mamadouParticipantShamet or DiVincenzo are coming.

HobbyOGParticipantNo, they need a SF, they have PG’s.

Evan_MilbergParticipantExactly what I was going to say. I have them taking Keita Bates-Diop in my mock, but I could see Melvin Frazier or Jacob Evans fitting in well there too.

kerrstParticipantI feel like Evans, Frazier or Hervey willbe available in the 2nd round so they should be going after a PG in 1st round.

iguapops420ParticipantPacers have learned from past mistakes. They have to rebuild while staying relevant. PG/sf either position. BPA
If im Indy, I’d make a strong play for Rozier.

BallerScriptParticipantI have the suspision that they are aiming to draft one of the international players
Right now I’m leaning towards them taking Dzanan Musa0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/31/2018 - 3:57pm #1118414

festar35ParticipantI’d be happy enough to draft Aaron Holiday or Jalen Brunson if we decide to go for a PG.

Jr. ROXASParticipantMy dream scenarios are…
Trade for either Rozier or Delon Wright. Both are young players that are ready to contribute while also possessing the potential to grow even more with the young nucleus of Dipo, Bonis and Turner.
Other options include signing some intuiging free agents. Shabazz Napier in offense, is an absolute stud. He can take of a big load off Dipo in that end. Defensively though he has to be more consistent. VanVleet is also a solid option. He’s great both on offense and defense, and is a steady presence on the court. Napier is a more dynamic offensive threat though.

HitsterParticipantKevin Pritchard has always been a GM who likes to draft rather than trade picks but he is also a big deal maker so might the Pacers be cooking something.
The Pacers have Pritchard running the front office and Walsh and Bird are still advisors so if there is no-one those guys fancy in the draft I’d have to respect it. Teams may well be looking to get into the draft or move up so the Pacers may have offers to consider.
