    • We heard on Wednesday that Boise State’s Chandler Hutchison had withdrawn from the combine, though at the time the reason was unclear. ESPN’s Jonathan Givony tweets that Hutchison has also canceled all his workouts after receiving assurances that he’s found a “safe landing spot.” Givony speculates that a team picking in the 20s may have given Hutchison a promise.

    Thoughts on this?

    He’s one of my favourite players in the draft!

    I have to imagine he has a promise from nobody lower than Portland at 24. He’s a very capable player and has great size and athleticism.  6’7” who can score and dish the rock. He looked unstoppable againt UW in the NIT this year

     I don’t think he’d cancel workouts unless its a promise in the early to mid 20s or higher…could be the Bulls at 22. Seems like the type of player they go for when they draft late in the 1st (senior, mid major standout)

     Portland need a forward that can contribute right away so TaylorCondrin may be right. I thought the Sixers would be drafting a wing or two as well. The Bulls have need for sure. The Hawks may be the ones that are in the position to make promises though as they have 19, 30 and 34

     I also go with the bulls at 22, i see him similar to suns warren type player, savvi scorer…

       maybe he also have a chance to jump into the lottery, now i feel he would not fall past spurs at 18, he has some derozan in him too…

    I told you he was the spurs guy when they were supposed to select in the 23-25 range… he was a 2nd rounder, a 40’s in most mocks at that time.

    The safe landing spot is now 18th !!!
