Kevin Knox va mikal bridges

 Mikal Bridges. He fits the mold for a 3-D guy and can fit for pretty much most teams. You can’t go wrong with Knox either though.

 I really like Mikal Bridges. Think he’s a guy that you can draft and he’ll be your starting SF for the next decade. An upgrade over Covington and an ideal 3 and D 3rd/4th option behind Embiid and Simmons. I like the young Batum comp.

Knox probably has a higher ceiling. Inconsistent as a freshman as can be expected. Bridges got a quarter of the pt Knox did as a freshman. These guys might not even be there for the Sixers. I’m partial to Bridges though wish the Bucks could move up a few spots and grab him.

 i’ll go with Knox if he still there at 10, is a bit of a riskier pick but has much potential, he show shades of Glen Rice and could be perfect forward for what Sixers trying to do around Embiid and Simmons and could give them a chance to maybe forgut about the horrible mistake of not drafting Tatum… Bridges would be a safe pick, but how much of an upgrade he is over Covington i don’t know and Sixers also have some talent in his mold and position with Timothe and Korkmaz and Anderson, Knox give them a diffrent bread… 

I think youd be lucky if Bridges is available at 10 and you know Knox is gonna look all ‘next Kevin Durant’ in them solo workouts lol. I got Knox going to the Clips but if hes there at 10 for the reasons stated above. Knox has the higher what if it all pans out factor

 I think Bridges will be gone. I see GMs falling in love with him and he will take the MKG/Corey Brewer/Otto leap, meaning someone will take him in the top 5. Sixers should target Lonnie Walker or Kevin Knox

 Bridges and it’s not even close. He has more fire to him, Knox plays like he needs to be motivated. Watch the Kentucky Baskeball show on Facebook and you can see Knox has to be pushed a lot, NBA you better push yourself or someone will take your spot. 

 I am hoping my Cavaliers draft Kevin Knox. Of course I’d prefer Porter Jr. or Young, but they’ll be gone. I’d take Bamba, but I think he’ll be gone too. 

Knox prepares the Cavs for life post-LeBron, whether that happens this summer or after another couple years. Bridges is a complementary player, not the star of the show. Knox can be a centerpiece because he can create his own shot.

  Bridges would be a perfect addition for a team that already has a superstar and needs a guard who is efficient and poised, but doesn’t take over games.

 Yeah Bridge probably won’t be available at 10, Knox is a solid pick for the Sixers though. 

I think it depends on what your team needs. If you’re looking for that consummate 3 and D guy, then Bridges is your guy. If you need more scoring power, you should go with Knox. I think Bridges is a much better fit in Philly than Knox would be, but Knox has a Paul George-type of offense that could benefit them too (especially if they end up not getting a big name in free agency). 

That said, I think there’s a possbility Chicago could take Bridges at 7 and New York takes Knox at 9. If that happens, I like Mike’s idea of targeting Lonnie Walker.

For the sixers, I’d go Bridges. He looks like a mix of Kendall Gill/Kerry to me, but possibly better than both on both ends, he just fits that consumate teammate/3 and D/reliable secondary option that every good team needs.  Bridges being from Villanova would also make it pretty cool to see him in a sixers uniform.

I wouldnt blame anybody for having Knox above Bridges though. He is younger and possibly has more "star potential", but is also the bigger risk imo. He reminds me a bit of Tobias Harris but I think Knox might be a bit more fleet of foot and a better shooter while not being the rebounder that Harris is. That being considered, he is an interesting prospect. I just thin that Bridges is ready to come in day 1 and start for a playoff team and be a key piece of a rotation while knox might need a couple years. And I believe he fits in with prospective big name free agents.  

 The Sixers might be able to trade up a bit to get the guy they REALLY want.

Fultz might still have value.  I would look into moving that and some other assets.

Great year to go after a third option.

Classic high floor vs high ceiling debate. Knox is 3 years younger than Bridges so he has a lot more room to grow/improve. But Bridges already has an NBA game and can slot right into the Sixers as a backup wing.

If both are there at 10 I’m taking Bridges but would have no issue if they take Knox.

 My first thought was go with Bridges because he is more NBA ready and has a defined role as a 3-D with a low floor but also a low ceiling. But the reality is he is not an upgrade over Covington (atleast right now) so the argument that he is more NBA ready doesn’t help Philly that much anyways. Philly has been consistent with trying to swing for the fences and that would be on point with Knox. He could develop into that clear 3rd option or go-to scorer for the second unit when Embid/Simmons sit if he hits his ceiling. A pick like this is what can take a team to the next level if it pans out. And if he doesn’t hit his ceiling, he will probably still be a decent player and they already have Covington. 

I feel like another poised guard who can handle the ball, shoot and defend would be nice for the Sixers. Gilgeous Alexander has improved a lot and shown incredible maturity. He may be better suited for Philly than Knox and could create some nightmare mismatch with Fultz and Simmons.

 For philly specifically, who is trying to compete and needs players who will contribute immediately, I’ll say bridges. But for most of the teams drafting in the lottery, I’d say Knox’s overall potential would win out.
