Victor "I don’t care what people think" Oladipo checks his self in a 30 point blow out with 8 assist and spams pick and rolls untill he gets a triple double.

The media is actually affecting the way the game is being played with this non stat it is absurd. What if he got injured?

And no other sport does this; football doesn’t care how many touchdowns are thrown if a bunch of interceptions are thrown.

And it all comes ESPNs  deep rooted hate of Kevin Durant losing their network money by going to GS and lowering ratings so  they cheerlead for Westbrook when he’s not always the best player on the court for some triple doubles.

Has anyone ever watched how ESPN covers football? They have what seems to be in depth analysis on plays and schemes on the shows "Gruden’s QB camp" or "NFL Live", but are so simplistic with their knowledge of basketball. No one talks about contested rebound %, DRPM (their own stat) or any other advanced stat that makes the triple double obsolete.

This season (Maybe) – the Fans & Players know they got a really tough Game 7 in Cleveland

but Indiana had an Amazing Season – Why not allow the players & fans in Indiana to go Balls to the Wall & have a Celebration??? Is that really going to ruin the NBA???

Oladipo has been a Rock Star this season – people thought Indiana would be a Lottery team

Let the Whole state of Indiana Rock Out wit they Cack Out & Enjoy a Great season!

After reading the title, I thought this was going to be about Westbrook taking 19 3’s.

I agree that ESPN’s coverage of basketball is super simplistic. It’s weird because they allow that Lowe guy to write short novels every week that are loaded with obscure advanced stats, and they even have their own trademark advanced stat formula (the "Hollinger stats").

But if you read their coverage of an actual NBA game, it always begins something like, "Russell Westbrook scored 42 points, Carmelo Anthony chipped in 19 and the Thunder defeated the Nuggets." But it doesn’t mention that Westbrook took 44 shots, or that Melo had 2 rebounds, 0 assists and 4 turnovers and got torched on D. And you will never know that Steven Adams went 6-7 from the field, made game-changing plays on D and set bonecrushing picks all night.

Gotta be salty after watching the Cavs play last night. Bunch of scrubs lol. For some reason Lebron still doesn’t seem to understand they wont show up and he has to do it by himself night in and night out. Game 7 will be interesting.

I’m so over the triple double.

Give me a 5×5 any day.
