RickyRubio9ParticipantSome rumors I’ve heard throughout today and a couple surprised me.
We all know about the 6-Player, 3-Teams Trade between Houston, Bulls, and Jazz so I’ll leave that alone as it is highly unlikely.
Also I’ve heard New Jersey may go for Big Baby now and they like him alot.
The Thunder are now in the Sessions sweepstakes which is a complete surprise, but Sessions has said he expects to get a deal done by the end of this week, but hasn’t hinted with which team. (Knicks, Clippers, and now Thunder)
One that blew my mind as a Houston Rockets Fan is McGrady may be ready by training camp instead of missing the first 20-30 games. He is out to prove everyone wrong and that’s motivated him.
Then there is the Rubio Endorsement thing to help with the buyout and lastly our very own Phi Slamma Jamma, Clyde “The Glide” Drexler wants to coach in the NBA!0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:29am #186311

IndianaBasketballParticipantThat would be really impressive if T-Mac is ready by training camp!

ckowalskiParticipantI would be nervous if he was ready by training camp. I know he wants to prove his doubters wrong but he has to be careful not to rush his return or else he could mess up his knee for good.

MagikKnickParticipantBig Baby would be great on the Nets, if they sign him to an offer sheet, I dont see Boston matching, especially after getting ‘Sheed
Why the Clippers & Thunder are after Sessions? I dont know..But even if he signs the OS with the Knicks, I just kind of got that gut feeling they’ll match anything
Like ckowalski said, T-Mac is hungry, but he shouldnt rush his recovery or he could be done for good

RickyRubio9ParticipantI completely agree about the whole rushing it back, but who knows. It’s McGrady…

Lemons4LifeParticipantthanks for the news. I haven’t checked in a while, so what’s the McGrady deal?

ckowalskiParticipantStill, McGrady had microfracture surgery which is probably the most debilitating injury in the NBA. A lot of the players who had it came back as shells of their former selves (Webber, Allan Houston) and there is pretty direct correlation between the age you have the surgery and how successful your recovery will be. Amare and Oden seem to be fine but they were young when they had their surgeries (25 and 19 i think). Even Jason Kidd lost a lot of lateral quickness from it but he has figured out how to adjust his game. Tmac is not old by any means but all I’m saying is that is some serious stuff he is going through and he needs to be really careful with it. Personally I think he can recover from it and come back as his old self but if he says he only needed 6 or 7 months to recover and is playing at the start of training camp I would be super worried about it.
