    Many of you probably don’t know who he is,but Juan Pattillo is a 6’6 220 pound forward who has mad hops and might be the best shot blocker in the country for his size. He played at Southern Idaho for two years,went to Oklahoma last year but got kicked off their team in May. He will sit out the 09-10 season and play his senior year in 2010-2011 for Western Kentucky. For the people who know him,think he has a shot at the nba?

    I heard about his blocking ability, but what else does he bring to the table?

      as of right now he just brings athleticism and energy mainly,but if he can add a jumper to his game and maybe some post moves,and have a strong senior year at WKU,i think he has a chance to make it to the league.I see him as a poor poor man’s Josh Smith

    Not much. I watched him a lot this year. He was a pretty good scorer because of his athleticism but he doesn’ t do much. I wish he’d stayed on the team. He’s a real important player for them.

    sounds like a guy from UMASS…. stephane lasme, one of best shot blockers in country two yrs ago, and he didnt make it.. not sure if there gms are similar but from your description they sound similar.. Some of lasmes #’s senior yr: 5.1 BLOCKS PER GM as a senior… Was drafted in 2nd round, so maybe dude has a shot.

    – you know why he was kicked off tm at OU???

      no but a lot of people say he was a problem in the locker room and his attitude wasn’t the greatest,i personally don’t know for sure though.But as a huge OU fan i was very disappointed when he got kicked off.Dude has insane hops and can pretty much come out of nowhere and reject a shot.In that regard,he is special but as an overall player he is just real good right now.
