R-Dot-13ParticipantIs there anyone that surprised you in summer league and might make a roster that you didnt think was going to make the roster before summer league started?

MagikKnickParticipantMorris Almond
Marcus Williams
Adam Morrison (already on a team, but i thought they were gonna waive him or something)
Tyrese Rice (he’ll be a good 3rd string PG..)
Jeff Adrien (did well for the minutes he played..)0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/20/2009 - 11:04am #185353
FutureoftheGameKobe Carl. I know he played for the Lakers but he never got to play. I just figured he was destined to play overseas (which is nothing to be ashamed of) for the rest of his career. Now i think the Nuggets are going to sign him and maybe try to get him to replace Keliza.

JNixonParticipantI think DeMarcus Nelson might make the Bulls roster, I thought he would end up getting cut.

R-Dot-13ParticipantSome people nobody has mentioned, or really heard much of…
Cartier Martin(GSW) averaged nearly 20 ppg, while shooting 44%, did not have an assist, but his shooting ability could get him a spot on a roster.
Garret Siler(MIN) was productive, and is a big body inside, he can help with rebounding on a team.
Nik Caner-Medley(LAC) In 9 games, averaged 11 ppg shooting 60% from 3pt and 50% fro the field, he also averaged 8 rpg. He’s a longshot, but had impressive numbers.
Quincy Douby(TOR)Scored the ball well at 18 ppg, good shotoer and has good offensive game, could be a backup.

JNixonParticipantCartier Martin: the pride and joy of the Kansas State Wildcats. Hope he makes the squad. And yea I forgot about Quincy Douby, definitely deserves a roster spot and a role as an offensive specialist.
