aarondsonixfanParticipantI’m not sure if someone else has posted this, but who do you think will be the better college player? Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins. On the Mock that Aran put up it looks like he likes Favors a whole lot more. Cousins is probably going to be overshadowed by Kentucky teamates John Wall and Patrick Patterson, but i still think he is a good player. What is your guys’ opinion?

MagikKnickParticipantCOLLEGE PLAYER? Cousins, simply based on who hes surrounded by..
Callipari can teach him, He;ll learn from Patterson, and Wall will help him out..But better player right now, in the future, and in the past, its gotta be Favors, Favors is way better than Cousins

ball4life66ParticipantCollege player? Favors
NBA player? FavorsCousins will have Wall and Patterson but Favors will have Shumpert and Lawal so both will have a talented supporting cast.

aarondsonixfanParticipanttrue didn’t think about that. Do you think Favors is just overall better or do you think that each has his own strengths? Like post moves, athleticism, defense, etc…?

Hoop FreakZParticipantI think DeMarcus Cousins will be the more productive college career because I think he will be staying in college for more than one season. I have a feeling that Cousins will be overshadowed a little bit and will contribute to Kentucky for at least 2 seasons. Favors, on the otherhand, will have a chance to shine right away and will likely be a one and done player.
However, I believe that Favors will have a much better career in the NBA because of his top-shelf athleticism, something that cousins lacks.

JNixonParticipantI would take Favors, alot tougher and more athletic. Cousins has a better perimeter game but he settles for it too much when he has the size to dominate on the block.

Untouchable JParticipantRed flag: I dont trust any player who is 18 and already out of shape. Cousins looks like a bum to me.

ball4life66ParticipantI just like Favors better overall. More atheltic, better defender/shot blocker, better rebounder, better scorer, always tries his hardest(Cousins has had ?’s about being lazy) not to mention Favors is 11 months younger than Cousins.
