GoodbyeChandlerParticipantit appears donnie walsh is planning to offer ramon sessions a contract. sessions, who was once coached by knicks assistant dan d’antoni in his aau days, would greatly help the knicks. the knicks are also looking into doing a sign and trade for sessions which would send hughes to wisconsin for sessions, signing to the mle, and another player. kurt thomas may be that player because his contract is up next after next season and milwaukee wants to remove him to play their younger players. coming from ny, this would be great for their future. any thoughts on this?

JNixonParticipantLooks like Milwaukee is handing Young Buck (Jennings) the key to the city.

sheltwon3ParticipantSessions to Knicks would be perfect and that would almost help support my Session for top 5 point guard. He has all the Skills Steve Nash has with a dash of defense. Mike D will get him putting up MVP type numbers. Session is not as good a shooter but he is decent.

sheltwon3ParticipantI do hope the Knicks get him also for the dude that said Nate and Duhon for pg. Nate is more of a 2 but is pg height and Sessions and Nate could play together because Sessions can guard 2’s.

stop there!

GoodbyeChandlerParticipantsessions has some flaws that would definitely be ssen in ny. one of which is the 3. shooting 17% from 3 is horrible for a guard, especially if he goes to a team thats is top of the nba in 3s attempted. i just like the fact that he is an upgrade at the starting pg position over duhon, who is not in the mold of the modern pg.

Mr. BasketballParticipanthe is not going to new york. he will sign an offer sheet with the clippers for the MLE soon and then that offer sheet will be matched by the bucks and they will keep him and make him the starter while jennings learns the ropes. milwaukee would rather have sessions to start and then be the backup than have hughes and some other piece of knicks’ trash.

Knicksboy34ParticipantClippers….your talking about Knicks trash? Might i remind you out of the last 25 seasons- 2 seasons with a record over 500.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 11:08am #184505

Mr. BasketballParticipant^ all i was saying was that the players mentioned in the op trade scenario going to milwaukee were trash. most of knicks players are not very good and u know it. why dis my team when i was just saying that the players that the knicks could offer in a deal like that are not good enough.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 1:02pm #184639

knicksfreakParticipantThe Knicks actually have a better roster top to bottom than the Clippers. So if the Knicks are trash then what does that make the Clippers?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 1:46pm #184697

Mr. BasketballParticipant^thats ur opinion. i don’t think that on paper the knicks are better. plus, the clips beat the knicks both times they faced each other last season so what does that make the knicks.
baron davis
blake griffin
marcus camby
eric gordon
chris kaman
al thornton
deandre jordan
quentin richardson
ricky davis
steve novak
mike taylor
free agent acquisitionur telling me the knicks have more talent top to bottom, really?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 1:56pm #184702

knicksfreakParticipantGuess what. Baron Davis is shot. If he was healthy then you could make an arguement. Griffin and Gordon are nice pieces but the rest of the roster isnt very impressive. Camby is good but hes leaving next year anyways. Kaman and Thronton are overrated. People hype up Jordan but he has shown anything yet.
Lee>Camby
HarringtonThornton
Hughes>Gordon Hughes is better right now
I dont even know if you can put Davis in this because he is always injured. Then we have
Hill
Douglas
Darko
Gallinari
Duhon
Curry
Jeffries
maybe Almond
Nate?our bench is much stronger
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 2:09pm #184711

Mr. BasketballParticipantur so biased. that thing u call a bench has 2 proven nba players, maybe 3 if nate resigns. lee might be better camby but he has not resigned and has a good chance of not returning. harrington is a product of the knicks’ system. thornton is just as good. u can’t be serious with the hughes>gordon statement. i guess u don’t watch any clipper games. look at the numbers, gordon blows him out of the water. also, if the knicks are better how did they get swept by the clippers when the clippers were all injured and not giving it their all? baron will return to form this season.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 2:13pm #184719

knicksfreakParticipantHughes has a much more complete game than Gordon right now. I agree Gordon will be better. Who on your bench is better than anyone on ours? Besides Jeffries haha.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 2:23pm #184727

Mr. BasketballParticipantcamby or kaman (one will start one will be on the bench)>>darko
deandre jordan>hill (deandre jordan had a 20 rebound game, a few 20 10 games, a six block game, and more. the inconsistent numbers is because his numbers were inconsistent but he always produced when given minutes. also, david thorpe of espn called deandre jordan the most improved player of since last year during summer league).
quentin richardson>gallinari (currently)
the free agent we get (sessions or iverson)>duhon (who might start because of nate possibly leaving…)
plus, gordon>hughes
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 2:29pm #184733

knicksfreakParticipantDuhon will start even if Nate stays. Q is washed up. His back problems have hindered his athleticism and everything has dropped off for him. I’d much rather have Gallo. You cant bank on any free agents. What if we get Sessions? Darko will surprise all this season. Neither Hill nor Jordan will make a big impact this season but Hill will put up better numbers.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/19/2009 - 2:42pm #184741

Mr. BasketballParticipantthats ur opinion. one thing u have not answered is why the clippers swept the knicks if the knicks are better.
