negguaryParticipantThe Kings have asked permission to talk to Sam Heinke in regards to being an executive over divac. I think this is exactly the type of guy they need. Besides can’t do any worse, and at least he’ll set you up for the future. But I do think the Kings already have pretty good assests now that boogie is gone. Hey maybe he can get their 2019 pick back from the sixers lol

thetrademachineryParticipantwell, looking at kings draft choices, they will be good even if they only hire him as a draft advisor for the picks they have.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI imagined the bullet points in Hinkie’s presentation to Vivek.
1: Trying is overrated- Except when it comes to manifestos.
2: Medicals- Draft guys with busted body parts! Other teams get scared and want players with "working knees."
3: You might think you have torn things down- But have you properly salted the earth? Papagiannis might get you a pair of 2nd rounders in 2020. Nerlens Noel did.
4: Always choose whatever is behind the curtain- Sure Harry Giles played more than 19 minutes once in a college game and 300 in total, but imagine what could have happened in the minutes he didn’t play. (Vivek’s mind is blown)
5: Respect the 2nd round- Have you ever been to Belgrade? (Vlade double face palms)
6: Furkan Aldemir deserves a second chance- Just because he still can’t start in Turkey doesn’t mean giving him $3 million per is a bad idea.
7: Contrast your desired style with personnel- Now that you have drafted Cauley-Stein and Papagiannis in back-to-back years, clearly you want to bring in a coach who wants run and emphasize shooting threes.
8: LeBron Jr is 12- So clearly, we want to use the next seven years to best position ourselves to win that lottery!
