not feeling joe lunardi this year. He has USC missing tourny. The trojans went 24-9, have two elite wins vs SMU and UCLA and dint lose to anybody really bad. They were undefeated out of conference and didnt lose to the dregs of the pac 12(washington, washington st, oregon st). Worst loss was probably at ASU which was a 1 point game. RPI of 41 bpi of 59. I cant see them missing. And then to have vanderbilt as a 9 seed who he insists isnt even in the bubble conversation. At least other sites who have vandy as in acknowledge the fact that they are on the bubble.

Man a bit off tolic but not really. Your boy Bill Walton is really trippin. That Oregon vs Arizona game was the worst Ive ever seen him. He was even talking about popping pills during the game lmao saying something like "if somebody said here take 2 of these would you take them?". I literally muted the end of the game and listened to music while I was watching.

South Carolina got screwed they have to play Marquette. I dont think they stand a chance.
USC vs Providence is surprising. I almost feel like at least one of those teams should be ranked higher that should be a good game and both teams will raise problems for SMU.

surprised smu and wisconsin are as low as they are. Glad USC made it and im sure they are happy to potentially play an smu team they already beat. Overall im glad the selection committe didnt go as overboard as a lot of bracketologists did with duke and put them at a 2 seed. Overall this bracket looks tough.

Looks like the committee is overrating the ACC a bit. Louisville over Oregon is a bit surprising to me.

im cool with oregon sliding due to the injury to boucher. He was averaging 12 and 6 with close to 3 blocks per game. Thats a major loss and i think oregon goes from title contenders to probably sweet 16 caliber.

  Thats a good point. Its ti remember understand and believe what the committee factors into thier picks but if currwnt health is factored in Boucher was very important and you could tell during that Arizona game.

I think Minnesota can win the south or at least beat UNC and get to the elite 8. Theyve been my underdog team all year with SMU and the Gamecocks. They matchup well with Kentucky and UCLA as well. That could be a great rematch too.

really dont care for the selection committee chairs reasoning on why UNC kept their 1 seed. Seth greenberg is even calling him out on it. Basically he said that the selection process starts wednesday and its very hard to move multiple seed lines over the course of a few days so duke could only move up so far since they started the week on the 4 line. I think thats bs, dont tell me where the teams were at on wednesday, once the season is over and wrapped up, you should compare teams based on their whole resume. I know you dont just start from scratch on selection sunday, but teams shouldnt be given a seeding over another team based on how its hard to jump multiple seeds. Just say UNC has a better resume then duke and i would be fine with that, skip this bs about where they were ranked earlier in the week.

I am a Wisconsin homer, but I have no idea why they were selected as an 8 seed.
Think about this: Wisconsin beat Minnesota not once, but twice; finished higher in the regular season B1G standings, and finished better in the B1G tournament, yet Minnesota gets a #5 seed and Wisconsin gets an #8?
I feel bad for Villanova. Perhaps facing Wisconsin in the second round shouldn’t happen for the #1 overall seed. Wisconsin should’ve been a #6, and could be a very tough out.

  It sucks you guys have to play Villanova but Viginia Tech is a much better first team than Middle Tennessee. Buzz Williams is a great coach and that team has a good future but I dont see them beating Wisconsin. Minnesota will have thier handful with Middle Tennessee Mid Ten and I think the winner of that game could advanve deep in the tourney.

  This is strange. I think Wisconsin has the best shot of any Big Ten team to make a final 4 run…I think the potential matchup vs Nova has the potential to be the best game of the weekend. That is probably why they were seeded so low…TV ratings?

    I agree with you. Seems to me the selection committee made some choices for potential "good games" and "upset games" for tv. I have Wisconsin beating Nova.
