Coming into the season I thought he was better than Josh Jackson and Jonathan Isaac and he really hasnt done anything to make me think differently. Quite frankly to me he proved he is a better player and I watch the games. I know most people will disagree but I think he is the safest pick in this draft. Plays like Danny Granger but has Demar Derozan type athletisism.

Hits the three, hits the mid range, can make acrobatic layups and can contort his body with great control, he is super competitive and gives it his all on every possession, he is physical and strong, super athletic in every sense. He fits on any NBA team right away. The only knocks are really his height which may only be 6’6 and his ballhandling but he has length and has improved his dribbling. If a team gets him late lotto its a complete steal and Ill be shaking my head wondering how he lated that long. Probally not a popular opinion but most people also thought he would be a 3 or 4 year prospect.

For some reason this site has criminally underrated him all year. He’s been projected to go late first round in most of the mocks that have come out. Finally, in the latest one he has at least climbed to 18. Still low imo, but at least closer to where he should be. Could be a huge steal if he falls outside the lottery imo.

I don’t see a high IQ. I see a guy that can do a lot of things based on his athleticism. He is a Gerald Green type player imo.

Have had a down year keeping them and him off the radar to a degree. Im not taking him before Jackson but Id take him in the top 10 for sure. He is raw but still productive, His handles need help but his shot especially from 3 was much better than advertised and we already knew he is insanely athletic. He comes across as a firerce competitor and not only has improved vastlly during the course of the season but he shows hunger in general.

I agree that his IQ at this stage is not great but hes not clueless at all and is quite unselfish. He will definately be a 2 way player also imo.

Sixers recently acquired Justin Anderson.  The more I see him the more I like his toughness, doesn’t hurt that his 3pt shots are dropping for him right now.  But he isnt afraid to check anyone on D.  Where would you put Bridges in relation to Anderson’s shooting, ball handling, vision and defense? I think this may be a fair comp.

I think Anderson is more versatile being able to gaurd SG/SF/PF. Anderson is kind of like Tucker.

Theres not many players like Bridges but if I were to think of a few roles he could mimic in the league Id say James Johnson or Aaron Gordon, somewhere inbetween those two players. I think he has the upside of Danny Granger or Shawn Marion though but Im just a crazy fan haha. He doesnt have quite the ballhandling skills JJ has or the height Gordon has but to me if your floor is a versatile 3/4 your a pretty safe pick.

I think Bridges is a top 10 propect but no way I prefer him over Isaac or Jackson.

Didn’t his dad come out and say he wanted to see him at MSU another year?

we’d be STACKED if he did in fact stay next season.

I thought I would watch him again to see what all the hype was about. Athletic, can block shots and had some spectacular dunks.

I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and watch his career high 33 points against Purdue which they lost. In his 33 points he either made dunks or the open 3, but not much else. 39% from 3 is good.

I didn’t see him attack the basket, drive/penetrate and saw no mid range game or contested shots.

What are Miles Bridges weaknesses ? does he have a mid range game, can he shoot in traffic, can he get into the lane ? There must be something there, otherwise he would be ranked right up there with Josh Jackson and Tatum….
