Brandon and Julian Wright

Has jus been injured I guarantee if he is taded to a system that runs he can flourish, now julian wright this guy has been waaaay to inconsistent he needs work on his jump shot and his handles r tha worst

I do believe if (BIG if) Wright develops a consistent game that extends past 15 ft and gets alot stronger he will be a solid player, but not as good as his talent would lead you to believe. Julian Wright also needs the same things, but he is a better all-around player right now. I think it would help a whole lot if these players got minutes, but thats up to the coaches. I hope they will, because I hate it when talent goes to waste.

Julian Wright and Brandon Wright have been in bad situations and also they both needed some time to develop as they were kind of lacking strength and definite positions when they came in. They both have shown flashes and I think Brandon needs to go to anther team so that he can get minutes.

I believe Julian Wright is in the same situation Boris Diaw was in when he played for the Hawks. The coachs dont know what position to play him, but he could go to a team like New York or Pheonix and be a huge factor. I think he could be like the 05-06 Diaw. Julian Wright is a good enough ball handler and passer to get it done. Boris Diaw just had the strength to guard every position while Wright can guard everything except the 5 because of his lack of strength.

Julian Wrigth is a bust. He looks awful IMO. He doesn’t even look good in summer league this year. Collison & Thornton both look better on the Hornets summer team & they are just rookies.

Brandon Wright has skills…he just hasn’t got a chance yet. I think him & Randolph could work together. Randolph just needs to develop a consistent jumpshot and he could play SF easy. Wright is a PF for sure. If the Warriors could trade Jackson &or Maggette that would be great. That way Randolph could slide over to SF & replace Jackson. Wright fills in the PF spot.

Both players has shown flashes of talent can’t deny that. But lets keep it 100, all the issues brought forward in this forum, is the same issues that plagued them since being drafted. Julian at Kansas was a jack of all trades master of none with bad shot selection. Brandon at UNC was a talented athletic player raw offensively but needed to add weight. Both players are still young hopefully maturity can set both players on the right path. Like iguodala9 said, “I hate it when talent goes to waste.” Julian and Brandon need a change of scenery. Brandon days at GS was over when they drafted Anthony Randolph. And Julian still has bad shot selection.

I think Brandon will eventually become a good starter for some team 1 day. But i felt that both these huys were drafted early in the 07 year. I felt al thornton should have gone before both and thornton has shown why he shouldbe gone before both. I see at best that julian wright will be a role player some day or a specialist player. or s some of u might say…….BUST

he’s in the perfect system with the Warriros. He could be easily as productive as Amare was when the Suns were running the D’Antoni 7 second offense. He has the measurements, and ability to easily put up 16 and 10 on any given night. It’s all a matter of him just being able to stay healthy.

As for Julian, he doesn’t look coordinated at all when he’s out in the floor! It’s surprising to me that he still hasn’t been able to find his niche in New Orleans he should easily be able to take the minutes that Rasual Butler gets with the team.

I can only imagine how successful the Hornets might’ve been if they had held on to J.R. Smith, and Brandon Bass. They would’ve been able to play the small ball lineup successfully with CP3 at the point.
