Michael.S.Participanti got this off AOL
Let’s keep this short and sweet, since that’s apparently how Richard Jefferson rolls. Brinson told you about RJ’s last-minute break-up with fiancée Kesha Ni’cole Nichols earlier this week. The couple was set to be married last weekend, but RJ called it off a few days before. (His friends still partied on his dime, of course.)
The New York Post talked to RJ about the situation, and Jefferson admits he called off the wedding and broke up with Nichols by e-mail. He said he chose the typed word as the right medium to get his thoughts collected. Also, Jefferson tells the Post he gave Nichols, a former Nets dancer, a “six-figure settlement” to “help her move on.” Also, he insists a rumor that he’s gay is not true and has nothing to do with this. (Seriously. The Post actually asked that question, and he actually had to answer it.) Also, he called off his wedding via e-mail. I’m sure no heckling fan will ever use that as courtside ammunition.
Jefferson registers as fodder for the Post due to his seven seasons in New Jersey, where he starred as a key player on the most famous Nets team in the franchise’s NBA history. The unfortunate rumor that RJ is gay likely stems from an old Media Takeout piece, which insisted one of those Nets was in the closet. (It’s unfortunate because it implies that homosexuality is something to be ashamed of for athletes, or anyone. It’s not.) Jefferson has also been in the news in the past for a potentially dubious assault arrest stemming from an incident in a Minneapolis night club.
Whatever you think about Jefferson’s keypad send-off to Nichols, it’s probably a smart move for everyone involved to break things off before the wedding if things aren’t going well.

sheltwon3ParticipantThere is more to this story than people will ever know. I think Basketball player are retarded for getting with those cheerleaders. Not a good situation if you ask me. They are around guys that make that much more than them and they look good that is a recipe for trouble. There are some banging cheerleader though. We has some of the Washington Red skins cheerleaders come on our ship back when I was in the military. There was only one of them that I would stress on the other were nice looking but not anything i would risk for the drama.

D HampParticipantHe was just on the Dan Patrick show and said he didn’t break up with her by e-mail. He did send her an e-mail, but that shortly thereafter, the two spoke for 2 hours. And he contends he isn’t gay.
Dhamp….THE WORLD’S GREATEST SINCE HUBIE BROWN. The best-looking. And the most popular on this site.
