OhCanada-ParticipantSo I think everybody would agree in a perfect world where Allstar teams had 15 spots Dame is an NBA allstar. Everybody would also agree that he is an allstar caliber player. However for the second year in a row he does not make the cut. This year is a bit more understandable than last because he missed a few games and his team has dissapointed. Last year he respondedby leading his team to the playoffs and securing a position on the All NBA second team. I expect a similar response this year.
Lilliard thrives with an underdog mentality. Youll hear him say it over and over again. Being from Oakland, constantly doubted even going to a midmajor Weber St. its part of who he is. Last year was crazy the numbers he put up.Dont be surprised if he works back into that 30-ppg mode for a few weeks sometime soon.

r377ParticipantLillard 26ppg on 44% and 34% from 3 which is quite average shooting percentages, plus he is on a losing team
CJ McCollum 24ppg on 48% and 42% from 3

EspressoParticipantI feel like the overload of good pgs/guards in the west is finally starting to be a problem as far as all star selections goes. Before, Chris Paul and Kobe started by default and the up and coming PGS/guards would come off the bench. But now you have kobe retired and an aging Paul in combo with all these guards hitting their prime. Some major names are being left out, westbrook not starting is a crazy, if he does finally average a triple double for the season, 10+ years from now people are gonna look back and ask themselves how the hell was he not a starter and possibly 1st team all NBA.
We have seen the do-it-all, overall player superstar in LeBron, the "one man team", and although we can all agree that LeBron is better than Westbrook, we have never seen LeBron be able to put triple doubles at will like this.
Westbrook is a specimen, and his willingness and need to take over games is more than Curry has done this year to grant the starting spot

Meditated StatesParticipantis horrible=fact. He is also a jacker. After seeing CJ vs the Celtics a week ago, he is difficult to deal with. He gets to the hoop better so he opens things up for teammates more.
