valentineCan anybody explain the signing of Ronnie Price by the Phoenix Suns?
The Suns is one of the worst teams in the NBA.
Will they be better with a declining 34 years old Price? No…
Will Price (a 3rd string backup guard at his prime) teach anything to young guys in his 10 days? I doubt…
So I can’t understand, if you need a backup guard sign a young proespect like Quinn Cook or anyone from the D-league, not a 34 years old stiff… Nothing against Price, but I questioned he even gets a veteran minimum this summer, so I was amazed when the Thunder signed him for 2years / 5 million deal… They realized that too and waived him in training camp, throwing that 5 million out of window. And now this young team bringing him in is just pointless. Even more than the Spurs addition of Joel Anthony.0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/26/2017 - 2:33pm #1091329
Ahkasi ClayParticipantPrice is a good locker room guy. The type of mentor that you want around a young team.

Robb_CParticipantRonnie is a future Coach in the making, Suns signed him to start grooming him for his coaching career

frogmanParticipantAnyone getting a 10 day contract isn’t seeing more than garbage time. He isn’t taking any young guys playing time. This is not the big deal you seem to think it is.
