I TOLD EVERYONE! LOL. I said it before, Austin Daye is good. For the 15th pick, he is a steal

He is talented especially on offense, I never had questions about that. I didnt think he would rebound and defend as good as he has. He is looking like the real deal. Maybe the Mike Dunleavy comparisons I made were off after all, haha.

I didn’t see the game yesterday but I have watched two of the Pistons’ summer games so far & Austin Daye doesn’t look as far away from contributing as I along with most people once thought. His defense is pretty good to except in the post…he needs to gain some weight. He is getting tougher though. He fights for rebounds. He actually handles the ball well for a big man….even though he over dribbles sometimes. Overall a smart player, with a great jumpshot & excellent size who looks like he will be at worst a very solid backup SF in the nba.

I was guilty of saying the Pistons had an average to bad draft but I was wrong. I thought they were just stupid for drafting 3 SF but that doesn’t seem to be the case. If Daye gains weight he could possibly play some PF. Jerebko can play PF too if needed. Summers can definitely play PF. Even though I think all three are better at SF they are all versatile. All 3 of them look like solid picks so far. Especially Summers, he has really impressed. I think that system he played in at Georgetown really held back his skills. Jerebko just needs a quicker shot release, that is the only thing holding him back.

6’11 small forward, with 2 giraffe necks for arms, what did you expect?

He reminds me of the guy thats going to start in front of him, Tayshaun Prince

Everyone said he was going to need a year or 2 in the d-leagues before he does anything, I think hes going to be a capable backup..

Its still too early to say, Detroit is not that defensive monster they once was, but they still are a defensive team and im not sold on Daye’s D just yet

I did not watch Daye much except for a few drills. He looked skilled but skinny and I figured he would gain weight. Also people were saying he was top 10 talent but too small so I figure at 15 he would have to be a great pick because Detroit had the time to wait and I guess it is looking more and more like that is truth.

Blocked like 2 shots per game at gonzaga he is not that great in the post though. Idk if i go as far as to say he was a steal just yet but i think he could really play like Lewis and Dirk

I think the steal part is if he becomes a top 5 player of this draft and he was taken at 15. That could somewhat meant a steal because Paul Pierce was a steal at 10.

Based on how effective they are, how well they help there team into playoffs, and stats

    1. Blake Griffin
    2. Austin Daye
    3. James Harden
    4. Brandon Jennings
    5. Jordan Hill
