If the Knicks did a sign and trade with the Rockets… T Mac for E Curry and D Lee and some cash like 3 mill… The rockets get the C they need for the year in Curry till Yao comes back, D Lee as your new PF and some cash to help pay for Curry. When Yao comes back you frontline looks like this… Ariza, Yao, Lee… Curry, Scola as your back ups… not that bad. And in 2010 Curry will be in the last year of his deal so you could get something for him if you dont want to keep him for more than one year.

The Knicks get what they want in cap space.

I like Lee too, but in this years 2010 Draft You can be another Power 4 to do what he did. There will be plenty entering the draft. And it gets rid of Thomas Mistakes while savin bread. Lets face it, NY is in a Semi rebuilding Year any way. Why not get go Trade Bait or Potential Cap. And if T Mac Works out you got ur start 2/3 depending on the line NY Starts. I like Lee but he can go.

If your giving Lee, Curry to that team I doubt the Knicks will be giving them cash probly some filler or a 3rd team is more realistic. Also they have Landry, Scola, Hayes as PF’S they really dont’ need Lee.

Better chance of them taking Mobley’s contract bck since insurance pay 1/2 of that. Curry and Mobley

Lee is better than Landry, Scola, & Hayes. The trade definitely helps out the rockets.
The Knicks would do that trade in a heartbeat…that expiring contract of TMac is valuable

That trade might work for one season but what are you going to do when Yao comes back? Have a high priced backup in Lee or piss off a player in Scola who has worked his ass off for 2 years in Houston by sending him to the bench? Furthermore, I don’t think Curry is the solution at center, now or in the future.
