Alright, I usually don’t like to post trade offers on here because I know there have been some albatross offers that have been proposed on this forum. With that being said, here I go.

PHI receives: Hezonja, 2nd rounder pick

    ORL receives Noel

You may be thinking "wait, the magic already have enough offensively inept players on their team, why add another and give up on Mario?" Obviously Mario is in the dog house and racking up DNP’s if Hennigan is trying to save his job, cut your losses and make a move. Philly takes a gamble on a young kid with upside, nobodies mad here.

    Here’s where it gets good.

Immediately after pulling the trigger on this deal, Henny dials up his pal Neil Olshey. He says man you guys have no rebounding, what a shame you guys won’t be as good as last year.  Why don’t I give you guys Biyombo (who Portland was said to be interested in this summer) and you give us Allen Crabbe. Portland gets better on D and Orlando gets better on Offense not to mention their contracts match up perfectly.  Boom. All sides are happy.

I’ve wanted to trade for Mario Hezonja for a while niw, and we do have to make a move (or two) regarding our depth situation, so a move like this makes a lot of sense

Mario can play SG or SF around whoever we draft in the Top 10 (PG or SF), hell put him on the bench and make him a 6th man and I think he’d thrive

The 2nd deal involving Crabbe and Bismack makes a lot of sense too…

    It’s a Win/Win/Win

Is Hezonja any better than Stauskas?

We don’t know because he’s sitting on the end of the Magics bench. If I’m the Sixers I’m interested in finding out especially if they don’t plan on matching a big offer for Noel

Even right now, I can’t really think of much Stauskas does better than Hezonja.

Hezonja’s ceiling is much higher as well. Stauskas is being given every opportunity to succeed and shoot. If Hezonja had that green light, you HAVE to believe at the very least he’d be just as good.

Since almost everyone is better than Stauskas…. the answer is yes

Hezonja also posses potential, something can’t be said about Nik.

Ah, the classic Michael Scott win-win-win business deal. Even if he wouldn’t be as good as Stauskas has been (which I disagree with because Mario’s ceiling is much higher), he can shoot and Philly can use all the shooting they can get

The only thing that would give me pause is do we think that Okafor is better with the 2nd unit or alongside Embiid than Noel would be? With that said, I’d love to see Noel in Portland

Stauskas has been playing great this year.  I liked Hezonja in the draft but his skills have not translated.  That team kinda blows and he hasn’t done anything to stand out. They even got rid of Mo Harkless.  Stauskas is more of a two gaurd with his lack of athleticism but his ball handling and overall play making is better than Mario.  He has been lights over the last 8 games.

Interesting deal and if Orlando moved Biyombo then it could work out. But if Noel was in the shop window might Philly just do a straight deal for say Allen Crabbe given they don’t have huge backcourt depth and could easily absorb his salary. Portland might be expected to throw a pick in given they are ditching salary.

Philly get a shooter and Portland get a defensive guy. Portland would have Noel’s rights so would have a chance of extending him next summer and get their cap down this year.

Also if Crabbe was available, the Bucks need a shooter and have Monroe who has a player option next summer so a possible deal there.

Back to the original deal – Herzonja would be a nice fit for Philly and linking up with his countryman Saric would probably be good for both of them too.

Portland need more than just defense inside, they need someone with some offensive game. Because they have no one inside teams are forcing them into more tough outside shots and when they aren’t falling they are getting killed.

I just wanna point out that Sauce Castillo is balling and as much as I wanted Mario hes not gonna come in and run any better then Sauce in bretts read and react offense.

BuT Brown is tryna groom Sauxe to be a Manu type guard off the bench

I understand the 76ers logjam has to be solved but I am not sure giving the 87ers another young euro 3pt shooting SF would solve anything.
