Knicks44ParticipantI have not seen TJ Leaf play for UCLA yet but I have just checked his stats and so far in three games he is averaging 20ppg 10rpg and 3 apg 1.7 bpg shooting 75 % FG.
Those are really impressive stats from a 6’10 freshman.
He is not on nbadraft.net 2017 mock draft list. I would think there would be some hype about him, especially putting up these numbers early on. Can anyone tell me more about his talent and potential?
Looking at his stats if he keeps it up, he seems to be a lottery prospect.0 - Posted on: Fri, 11/18/2016 - 4:21am #1088481

ChewyParticipantdef look good. I usually try to wait and watch stats once people are in conference play. These coaches go against each other each and every year. They know each other’s plays, offenses and defenses. So if players can perform in conference games where the other team is prepared for what he is supposed to do, then I start to think about the player as special.

llperezHaven’t gotten chance to watch the bruins play yet this year. But I watched a lot of leafs senior year videos and the videos from uclas Australia trip this summer. Leaf is the real deal. Runs the court hard, nice post moves and can hit threes. I read a couple breakdowns from uclas Australia trip that said leaf was hands down uclas best player, better then Lonzo ball. When leafs highschool team played balls #1 ranked chino hills squad this past year, balls team was beating everyone by big numbers. Won every single game in California playoffs by 20+ which is unheard of in California’s highest division. Yet leaf kept his squad in there matchup with chino hills. He dropped 45 points and did everything in his power but they lost by like 8 points.

LA12ParticipantTJ actually lives on my floor as well along with Lonzo Ball like I mentioned before. He’s a really good kid too from what I’ve seen. Glad to see him performing really well. I don’t think he’ll declare this year, but I could see him getting drafted in the first round whenever he does. The one thing that sometimes sticks out when he plays is that he plays a little stiff. Still though, he plays with a level head on offense and crashes the board on both sides.

Mr. 19134ParticipantLeaFs a clear top 10 pick at the moment and appears to be a skinny Love clone wit shot blocking ability.
His anticipation and feel for the game are elite. His stock will soar once he gers weight on as stretch bigs who can pass and rebound are in high demand
