nath09ParticipantMust be a misprint. When looking at the Lakers v Warriors game it tells me that the Lakers won by 20 and Curry went 0 for 10 on threes.
What is happening? Really good win for the Lakers.

warson24The Lakers beat them last year too…
Every Warriors fan should be happy LA isn’t a playoff team… 😛

PhillySteveParticipantMy first thought was 0TT0 jr. with 0 rebounds in 38 mins v. Hawks

CynthiaParticipantAs a Thunder fan I was obviously a little angry the other night, but in the end I never expected to beat the Warriors so I was fine with it. But losing by 20 to the Lakers is just embarassing. First time Curry hasn’t hit a 3 in 157 games (according to NBA.com).
Looks like they burned all their energy into beating OKC. They don’t seem to be as good as they were last year, even though with adding Durant they should be better (on paper). They’re still good of course, but they at least seem beatable now, last year they were like untouchable Gods.
Congrats to the Lakers.

SubZeroParticipantYeah I never expected us to beat the Warriors that game either, but seeing Durant talk trash to us just made me sad because all I could think about was his MVP speech and all the times he had stuck up for Westbrook and the rest of the team. How times have changed

ThunderHog35ParticipantSad to think the Thunder only have 4 players left from that team they had during the MVP season. The turnover they’ve been going through is incredible considering how consistently good they have been.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantWe get their Draft Pick if they finish outside the Top 3, with New Orleans and Brooklyn looking as bad as the 76ers, it seems more and more likely that The LA Lakers will finish with a better record than those 3 Teams and hand over a lottery pick (and solid G/F prospect to Philly)
I’ve never found myself rooting for LA so much, they certainly have a solid core going forward, Russell, Clarkson and Sweet Lou Williams are a great G combo, Nance and Deng should be able to play both F spots and Randle has been playing F/C in a Draymond like capacity, Ingram will take some time to adjust but he looks fine out there right now, they’ll only get better IMO
Every Laker win is a Win for the 76ers this year, let’s go Los Angeles, we need as many lottery picks as possible to surround Simmons and Embiid…

ZachAttackParticipantThe 76ers will just draft a Center.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantLuke Walton is clearly making a difference with this young squad. I love that he is starting Swaggy P who has really responded playing some solid D and has limited that typical swaggy P bonehead play. Lakers have a bright future.

RUDEBOY_Participantrandle out draymond’ed, draymond green…lol..

BeastMode716Participantto an offense. The addition of Walton has been Big
Golden State put on a brick show & must something like 30 wide open 3’s so I’m not getting too excited but 3 wins in 6 games is Huge for us
As far as Golden State – I really think signing Durant was a mistake b/c you already had 2 of the best 3 pt shooters in NBA history – in terms of adding to existing strengths for Pro sports teams there comes a point of diminishing returns. For example if your put 2 or 3 Sluggers on One baseball team only one of them will put up the crazy #’s, one will have ok #’s & one will completely fall off – it’s just a universal law or something
So the Warriors add to an area they were already stronger than Everyone & in the process weakened a Great bench & completely took away any size in the post. Players like KAT, Unibrow & Embeast will score 1/2 a hundred on them w/o breaking a sweat.
I don’t care what anyone says this Warriors team will be forced to Really grind in the playoffs where Refs swallow the whistle & games turn into a 1/2 court Ju Jitsu battle

RUDEBOY_Participanti think the warriors defense took a hit when they let bogut go. the lakers scored 60 pts inside the paint.

Magic JordanParticipantThese aren’t your Kobes Lakers anymore folks. They have been in every game thus far and have played some tough teams. Westbrook and George did what superstars do against them and took over in the last 6 minutes. George Hill hasn’t come back to earth yet and the refs in Utah did what they do for the Morning Thunder. They could easily be 5 – 1 or wait for it…. 6 – 0 eight now with a little better execution down the stretch. They have 6 very winnable games coming up and I’m curious how they handle it. They are only going to keep getting better.
Philly will be rooting for LA to win all year but what they should really be doing is taking notes on how to assemble a winner. More lottery picks are not going to help you people!!

llperezmissing threes the way the warriors did wont continue. steph and klay combined to go 2-20 from down town with lots of quality looks. KD had nothing to do with those two not showing up.
However, this is the third time the lakers have played the warriors in the last couple weeks and the big thing i have noticed is that the warriors are terrible in the paint. lakers have outrebounded the warriors by over 6 rebounds per game in the 3 meetings so far including preseason. And randle was getting what he wanted down low last night. The loss of bogut has been bigger then people anticipated.
The other issue with the warriors is draymond is much less engaged. stats wise he is just as good as last year in terms of suffing the boxscore but his shooting is down across the board. You can tell just by watching he isnt as aggressive on offense so far. I wonder if he is the guy that will have the hardest time adjusting to KD.
As for the lakers, the pieces have really been coming together. Give managment credit for using the draft picks well. Lou williams is balling big time too.

MatosParticipantHold your horses guys. Warriors won’t shoot this bad every night. I will say that it looks like Klay on most occasions this season can’t find his rhythm because he isn’t getting looks with consistency. Durant has been taking some of those looks. That’s a big problem moving forward. Not too concerned about Steph.
