SubZeroParticipantProbably the biggest tragedy in the NBA is that Anthony Davis is stuck in New Orleans. Putting up 50 and 16 with 5 assists, 7 steals (!!), and 4 blocks is ungodly, and yet they still lost. Will we ever see him on a contender or is he just doomed to waste all his best years on a terrible team?

SmooveKRYPTParticipantI hope he got a player option in that deal. I can’t bare to watch him waste away 5 more years there

KingslayerParticipantAs freakishly good as he already is, he hasn’t even reached his prime years yet. Let’s hope the added weight can help him stay upright. The Pelicans have made some terrible roster moves over the years but there’s still time to turn this around in the future with the Brow.
btw – what’s scarier, AD’s stat line last night or the other 4 players rounding out the starting 5?
Solomon Hill, Omer Asik, Tim Frazier, E’Twaun Moore… yikes
AD – 50, 16 & 5 w/ 7 STL & 4 BLK. 60% TS… what a monster

treytalkssports.comParticipantThe Celtics are awkwardly hiding behind the bushes and watching the situation in New Orleans.

HitsterParticipantHe has a player option in 2020/21 but as he is still only 23, I don’t think we need to talk about him wanting to chase a title all in yet. NOP have had a bad run of injuries with his supporting cast over the years but if he can just find one good running mate then the team might be fairly good.
With AD there they will always be a place of interest for FAs.
But a very good point by DWC above about Boston with all those picks, they have ammo to make a competitive offer if they felt compelled.
Crazy statline for AD last night. We bow to The Brow.

joe2324ParticipantI think Anthony Davis a good shot to become the first player to get a quintuple double. 10 points, 10 assists, 10 blocks, 10 rebounds, 10 steals.

The GoatParticipantCeltics should just go for it – the Nets next pick, Smart and Olynyk. There’s still pieces there to dangle if you want him bad enough including Rozier, Johnson, Crowder and more picks. Use em or lose em C’s!

MatosParticipantWow. Over-reaching much?
