This won’t keep him out the entire season, but he’ll be out quite a few months. Hopefully, he comes back strong physically and mentally. Big loss for the Heat. I was really impressed with him last season and thought he’d have a nice season with Wade gone.
Dion Waiters will get more of an opportunity now.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantI’ll put Johnson ahead of waiters on the depth chart now, he seems to be able to offer more than waiters based off of what we’ve seen in his limited action, and they’re not paying him all that money to not play a significant role next year.

omphalosParticipantPressure is on Dion now – if he can’t establish himself as invaluable now then it’s all over.
Kinda like how Jeremy Lamb failed to stick in the rotation in Charlotte with MKG out – he probably won’t ever be a regular rotation player/starter.

Jr. ROXASParticipantI don’t know about that. Lamb started out really well the first half of the season last year. He averaged about 9-10 pg as a backup and actually improved on defense. He was getting a lot of deflections and rebounds with his long arms. He was rewarded a contract, and rightfully so, with his solid play at the season’s start.
And then suddenley, there was this one point of the season where Steve Clifford just decided to put him at the end of the bench. Maybe it was the arrival of Courtney Lee. Maybe it was Jeremy Lin’s production. But either way, it didn’t make sense and I don’t think it was fair for him.I hope Clifford doesn’t stick Lamb at the bench again this season because I think he has proven that when given playing time, he can really produce. Especially defensively, where I thought he made good strides last season.

kobyzParticipantI think it’s the same injury jimmy butler had last season and he came back in like a month and a half…
