I would sign him for $1 million a year 2 year contract… All May as to do is stay healthy & keep the weight off. He is a solid backup for Aldridge. A lot of teams are interested in May though so it is a slim chance he actually goes to the Blazers.

If May can stay healthy and keep his weight down he could be a very good solid back-up for a team and a descent starter. He got skilles maybe alittle undersized in terms oh height but definitely can be productive if healthy.

Yeah, a guy with weight and conditioning issues is not a good combination, especially considering the seriousness of his knee injury. I agree not a bad gamble if you can pick him up cheap, but you can’t expect much out of him at this point
