Is it just me, or is he one of the more underrated offensive minds in college basketball?
The numbers say that they’ve been good offensively in recent years under Miller, but his teams haven’t really passed the eye test to me. He gets his teams to share the ball, but I don’t see a whole lot of ingenuity or creativity in their sets. His teams remind me of Izzo coached teams offensively. Good, but I wouldn’t consider him an offensive guru or anything like that.
They have been in desperate need of a floor general since TJ McConnell graduated and the guys coming are extremely talented but not those types of players. Zona hangs their hats on their defense with their long rangey athletes and size in the middle.
