Does it kinda feel like

Boston and Sacramento might be working on a DeMarcus Cousins deal.  With Sactown taking two centers in the 1st round (which is the deepest part of their team, Cousins and WCS) one being what’s percieved as a megareach (Papagiannas) and the other a guy who had a hard time staying on the court in the NCAA (Labissiere), if it was any other team we would be very suspicious, since it’s Sacramento we almost expect the monster brain fart.  My question is how many of the following assets does Boston have to give up to get Boogie:

J. Brown draft rights.
G. Yabusele draft rights.
A. Ziziic draft rights
D. Jackson draft rights

And Boston fans, I know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, but just look at that list of assets that can be used to acquire something useful, and then think about the players you have under contract on extremely team friendly deals for next year that aren’t listed:

Isaiah Thomas
Marcus Smart
Jae Crowder
Kelly Olynk 
Jordan Mickey.

And let’s not forget about that cap space.  I see most people calling Boston’s draft haul as a loser, but let’s remember that Ainge is still the guy who swindled Brooklyn into mortgaging their future for a rental of two has-beens.  Let the man work his magic before you criticize the guy who brought you a championship and then made the Celtics the envy of every GM who doesn’t have a championship caliber team already in place.  It’s still a good time to be a Boston Celtics fan.
