natevalParticipantIt’s being reported the Celtics are interested in Kris Middleton. As a Celtics fan I hope the Celtics don’t have interest in Monroe. Ainge has always been a fan of his

BiggysmallsParticipantWhy would Milwaukee trade Middleton for anything less than too much?
He’s their best player. I’d say he and Greek Freak would be darn near untouchable if I’m running that team. At least to the point where it makes very little sense for an opposing team to trade for them.

machu46ParticipantIf it’s just #3 and a contract, this will simply never happen. I’d be pretty shocked if Boston offers up what it would likely take to acquire him.

juves4783Participanti read that as if boston would trade the 3rd and one of their player’s contracts for middleton; not include another big contract.
my guess would be pick up amir johnson’s option and the 3rd for middleton since their contracts are the same. that would be an interesting trade because it sounds like kidd wants to upgrade at pg so they could get dunn and poetl at #10 and modify the lineup so monroe, parker and giannis played more natural postions: pf, sf and sg respectively.

asmartin626ParticipantSo bucks biggest problem is outside shooting, and a idea essentially trading Middleton, their only shooter, for Dunn, who is nowhere near a shooter…and adding Poetl. And who is naturally the SG? Parker and Greek both are combo forwards, both would more likely to thrive at the 4 than anything else. I’m not understanding logic here. So the lineup would be
PG- Dunn
SG- Giannis
SF- Parker
PF- Monroe
C- Poetl
…..good luck to them. I love Giannis and see him as a star…but this lineup sucks

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantMy worry is that with the Bucks having broken ground on a new stadium last weekend, including $250 million plus in state money to aid in building it, the owners will look at the next season as a giveaway. They emerged from their last rebuild with a mismatched lineup. Their recent draft picks can’t shoot. They dealt for Michael Carter-Williams who doesn’t fit with Antetokounmpo or Parker. They have paid Monroe, Middleton, and inexplicitly John Henson big money. If they end up dealing Middleton and Monroe, it looks like they are playing from the Altanta Braves and Miami Marlins playbook of cutting costs the moment the public money comes gets them a new building.

zcnumerounoParticipantAs a Bucks fan, I would hate this.
Khris Middleton should be one of three Bucks that are untouchable – he, Giannis & Parker.
Middleton is one of the few on the team that can shoot, plus he’s a good defender, and an underrated all-around scorer. He’s been the Bucks most consistent player over the past few seasons.
