With all the reports saying GS will pursue Dirk, was thinking why not bring in Pau Gasol as well. They can sign each one to 2 year deals at $6-8m each, ship out barnes and ezeli, move draymond to the 3, and all of a sudden you have a really interesting lineup.

Would this put them back over the top next year?

That kind of goes against what’s made them good the last 2 years. Draymond can guard 3s, but is best suited at that 4 position and gs loves small ball. That would be the opposite. Plus…dirk isn’t going anywhere at all. I could see gasol being good on the roster as a much better form of Bogut

Obviously both of those players make them better but I dont think theyll end up with both and probably not even one. If those guys were chasing a championship the Warriors are probably the best team without them because if Draymond doesnt get suspended and Bogut doesnt go down with an injury they are probably holding the trophy right now. But having said that the Cavs beat them and have the easiest road to the finals. Theres no Thunder or Spurs out in the East to go through so if someone wants to chance a championship the Cavs are the team to head to and now that they have finally won a championship I except veterans accepting some cheap deals to go there.
