Tim49461ParticipantLooks like Macrus might be playing himself into a contract if he keeps this up. So far 7 points 17 assist 4 rebounds. Westbrook can’t even stop him right now. You guys think Macrus Williams will translate this through the SL and maybe in the NBA, he had potential.

Knicksboy34ParticipantHe is a backup at best

MagikKnickParticipantHe’ll probably get a contract as Mike Conleys backup, hes gonna have to shoot better the next couple of games though, he went 3/9
But we was struggling against Westbrook early on defense, hes like 40 pounds heavier that Russ, and Russ backed him down a few times during the game
Just because the Griz dominated the Thunder by no means Marcus Williams is better than Westbrook, not even comparable

BasketballGuru24ParticipantHe Can Be A Starter On A Depleted Team Like Minnesota…….but i only seeing that going so far till Flynn takes the starting position, but back-up is what he probably would be….3rd string maybe

Meditated StatesParticipantHe is starting point if Williams is there or Rubio. Williams is a back up who I agree needs to learn how to hit the long ball or else he will be out the league. He does have great passing skills, but he can’t blow past guys because he is not a good athelete. He is not quick and fast,or a leaper.

IndianaBasketballParticipantWilliams looked like he did during his UConn days today! It’s still only summer league though. If he can play this way throughout the rest of the games, then we’ll talk.

JNixonParticipantMagikknick said he saw him get backed down by Westbrook. Thats a shame. No way he should get backed down by any PG with his extra weight, much less a guy thats like 185 like Westbrook.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantHow did Russell play? I haven’t heard anything about his performance

jerb2011ParticipantStop comparing people to eWestbrook, he is a SG learning to play PG, and he is playing impressively well for his 2nd year.

knicksfreakParticipantMarcus Williams is a great player. He just couldnt adapt to Nellie’s system for some reason. The Nets were planning on him taking over for Jason Kidd until they stole Harris from Dallas. He can be a starter on an NBA team.
