I think this guy is a big time sleeper who will probably never be an all-star but will be a very good role player for a playoff team. He’s a winner, high IQ guy, didn’t make the NCAA tournament last season but to be fair his team was terrible. He can do a bit of everything. First he’s going to be able to play defense in the NBA. He’s 6’8" with a 7′ wingspan and moves well for a guy that is 6’8" 215. He has a weird release on his jumper but he still gets good rotation and shoots it softly. He is an average ball handler for a 3/4 for but he can put it on the floor well enough and when he’s knocking down his jumper he can use the pump fake, drive to the rim and dunk it or draw contact. He’s was good rebounder at Florida and his physical profile points to him being able to do that in the pros. Honestly, he reminds me of James Posey coming out of Xavier and like I said while I can’t see him being an all-star unless he improves his handler and his jumper, I think he could be a very solid role player coming off the bench or possibly starting for a playoff level team. I would take him in the second round no doubt, if I was a GM and he fell into the 50s like most people are predicting, I think he could be one of the steals of the second round.
