OhCanada-ParticipantI don’t understand all the hate for Ingram as a prospect. The guy has great physical tools, talent and skill. At 18 years old he played very well as a freshman for coach K and at times dominated and showed a killer instinct. Im not bothered by a freshman struggling with consistency, every single player in the league not named Lebron James struggled with consistency at some point this year and none of those guys were 18! And what’s this about him not being athletic he is definitely a good fluid athlete so what if he doesn’t have a 40 inch vertical, remember Kawhi Leonard at the combine. Yah. The same people said Durant was too skinny and unathletic.

circumlocution75Participantthe woods out back my house been saying Ingram is Kevin Durant 2.0………
If he starting to get a little bit of a backlash it’s Only b/c predicting he’ll match Durant is Wildly over – valuing his skill set………. dude is built like Angelina Jolie & she’s probably got a Quicker 1st step…….
But, all kidding aside, I don’t believe there is Anyone – even his critics – who doubts he’ll be a very good Pro…..

DukeDaSquadParticipantThe only hate Ive seen is when those 2 guys were calling him a homeless man Durant and laughing about the comparison which was totally unwarranted. Everyone else seems to love him

BiggysmallsParticipantSo not wanting to compare Ingram to a guy who was an MVP two years ago and likely a top-50 player of all time is considered "hating"?
Got it.
I’d take Ingram No. 1 off what I’ve seen and heard about him. I don’t like Simmons and I think Ingram is going to be a guy that gets a good team 20 points and 6 rebounds a game. He’s efficient, he can shoot, he can handle the ball, he isn’t super strong but he’s tough and he’s willing to do the dirty work. No reason to think he can’t be a really good NBA player.
