nath09ParticipantNow Houston has hired D’antoni how do you think they will go when their coach and star player thinks defense is the thing in the yard that seperates your property from the next door neighbour.

ExumInfernoParticipantIt could work, just outscore the other team. Small and fast, outside shooting at center, Ariza running and shooting 3s at power forward, Houston could be fun to watch with their new coach.
They do have good defenders though with Ariza, Capela, Beverley, McDaniels is versatile and athletic, Jones can block shots, so even if offense is the big priority they can still slow down some teams.
I hope they do play crazy, shoot the ball quickly, run and run, it could be entertaining. With Howard gone, it is expected, they should have money to sign more scoring so hopefully they do that.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantL.A. did Mike bad, hard to win when your star player refuses to do what you ask.

DolanCareParticipantExcited to see Montrezl Harrell in this system. Could be a poor man’s Amare Stoudemire. I predict Sam Dekker will get some playing time as well.

TarHeelRavenParticipantD’antoni has his work cut out for him. Houston is an absolute mess.. I know Howard is on his way out, but can James Harden be a franchise guy that you build your team around??? I say no. Houston probably had the worst chemistry in the NBA last year. Does Dwight leaving drastically change things?? I think I probably agree with a lot of people saying the firing of Kevin Mchale so early in the season was a mistake. D’antoni is probably the worst guy to come in and get Harden to at least attempt to play defense. I think they should blow up that team and start over.

J-rueMykelParticipantA fresh start with a coach who made Amare Stoudemier look like a top 5 player ITL and a 23.2 million dollars one year salary are not enough for Dwight to consider the Houston Experiment one last time? He’s only 30, hes going to get another really nice contract, so why not push it back another year, give D’antoni, a free thinker, the chance to build a run and gun system around him and Harden together. This is a team that is only one year removed from a WCF finals trip, let’s not forget that. If I’m Dantoni I’m sweet talking HGH until he signs elsewhere, because why not?

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantThe rockets are in trouble. I am sure general managers are lining up try to trade for rocket draft picks right now.
They are on Harden injury away from a top 3 pick with D’antoni as coach. Rocket player will eat him alive in just the first half of next season. Not a great hire for a team that lacks discipline.
