OhCanada-ParticipantThe 76ers historic tankathon, tanktastic, tankanized effort of trading any talented player for non tangible assets, depleting the roster of talent and acquiring talented injury prone players that play the same position is over…and so are the ridiculous trades.
The management will be putting a team that fans can bare watching and spending money on merchandise and tickets.
They won’t trade Okafor because he has the potential to ruin the career of whoever traded him away in this case it would be Bryan Colengelo.
If Okafor ends his career as 10 time all-star it would not shock me one bit. You can’t just trade away proven star talent for an uncertainty.
Noel is more likely to be traded because of his injury history, lack of offensive game and not to mention maturity issues.
BTW, people. Its over! The process is done. Hinkie is gone. Expect this management to build this team in a standard risk vs reward fashion. The Sixer’s will not be trading for undeveloped players or assets if anything they will be trading undeveloped players and assets for *proven NBA talent*.

negguaryParticipant100% agree with you on the jah comments, people can nitpick at his game all they want the fact is he has proven at least what he CAN do, and does it well, whereas the other guys have proven nothing and can be busts. Would have like Heinke to enjoy the fruits, unfortunately he did not handle certain situations professionally . Sixers are goin up!!

bigjah8ParticipantWow realest OP. As a die hard sixers fan these have been the worst years of my life but we’re finally making some progress towards turning it around. Agreed 100% on okafor too. I’m really high on him man he could score big numbers from day one and his range and FT% have improved immensely.
I’ve gotten heat for this before but I think Jah projects as Boogie Cousins-esque, and is significantly better than cousins was at 19-20 years old. Okafor may not be a star but hes a building block for a franchise and hopefully the trading proven players for picks and assets stage is over

BiggaveliiiParticipantKeep Jah and embiid i think sixers are going to bring simmons along as a SF so why not keep Noel for a bit longer atleast until Embiid is 100% healthy.

ExumInfernoParticipantUnless they spend all their free agent money, it is still a tank/rebuilding process.
Or at least try to spend it, as in offer sheets to restricted free agents.
If there is TANK and WIN-NOW, I am not sure they are out of the first option yet.
If Hinkie was there, the loaded group of assets plus this number 1 overall choice would probably indicate the process he had was a success and it was time to cash things in and win.
