Stanford hoopsParticipantlol..ok wont go over board but second game in a row adam morrison is looking very well righ tnow he has 20 points on 8-16 shooting..making good moves and moving without the ball just like in college and at some points in his rookie year except hes shooting a better percentage..if he can play at least half as good with the lake show this year it will be a great addition..especially since his confidence is better

Stanford hoopsParticipantwalton what?..he will be the back up sf…morrison if he continues to play well ..possible back up sg..unless sasha reverts back to his old form..in either case its a plus

Knicksboy34ParticipantDo you think Morrison is fast enough on D?

AreopogusParticipantMorrison looked like he was playing at Gonzaga again and his rookie year in Charlotte. Very confident, great shooting, good decisions. I personally think Luke Walton is absolutely terrible so if at least 75% of what he’s doing now translates over Walton just lost a lot of his minutes.
It REALLY makes me mad b/c I’m a Bobcats fan and after his knee went out he just looked terrible. Maybe after this year, if he turns legit, they can try to deal him back so he can clear his name….
And on the topic of names, we rename the franchise so that selfish, good for nothing, worthless Bob Johnson’s name is off the team. What a horrible man. Should have given Larry Bird the rights to the new franchise so they could’ve been the Charlotte Legends or something cool…..

kong47272ParticipantYou have to remember this is summer league, he is playing against a lot of guys who won’t even be on an NBA roster next year. These games don’t have the quality defenders he will be up against in the regular season.
That said I wish him the best, I enjoyed watching him in college.

llperezmorrison did’nt play much for the lakers last year, but it might have been the best hing for him to see how chamionship ball is played and not be given anything in terms of minutes. I really have had no plans of seeing him play for the lakers and thought the would be gone after this year, but if he can ball, then that is just one more weapon for the lakers.

Stanford hoopsParticipantummmm no..lol he prob isnt much better at d but he will be going against back ups when he get in the game..im a lil higher on him then most in the summer games because derozen was checking him the first game most of the game and he was scorin gon him then danny green was checking him …plus the fact that he put up solid numbers his rookie year minus the shooting percentage which is usually down for a rookie…anything he contributes will be a plus . plus you can never underestimate what this does for a players confidence…trust me kong im not looking at this like hes gonna challange for a starting spot..its just a good sign that hes dropping 20 each game while shooting well

Knicksboy34Participanti dunno…summer league man. I dont think we can look at this and say ” wow, hes gonna be able to contribute”

Stanford hoopsParticipantthe difference with him is he already played in the nba and hes not a rookie knicks..he knows what it takes to play and the fact that he wasnt that bad before his knee blew out..its different then a guy whos comming from college and hasnt played a game in the nba you know…people forget he did average 11pts a game as a rookie comming off the bench

j1232eParticipantgame time action is better than no action who ever your competition is. I glab to see that morrison is not trying to be to big of a person and actually showing himself off a little. I give him props.

Knicksboy34ParticipantWhy do you say things like im dumb? I know he is not a rookie. Im just waiting too see if he can even crack the rotation 1st to say he can make a impact….

Stanford hoopsParticipantfor some reason you are taking it like im saying youre dumb…dont be so sensitive

Stanford hoopsParticipantyeah he will be a good option if he can play like he did his first year which shouldnt be too hard if he has the confidence..the triangle is a good offense for him plus the lakers are a good team for players to reinvent there selfs (brown, ariza, powell)

JoeWolf1Morrison was a gunslinger in college and a big time scorer, and although his rookie year wasn’t terrible, his shooting percentages in the NBA have been awful, He is a good scoreer but just needs to put it together. He is definatley good enough to tear it up in summer league, but he has to adjust and find his shot against regular season NBA competition it he is going be a good player, but if he continues his poor shooting and bad shot selection trend he’ll be out of the league in a couple years.

Stanford hoopsParticipanthe pretty much played like a rookie in his rookie year..like how rookie pg usually lead the league or close to it in there first year if they are starters
