jhbm24ParticipantNow I know trade ideas get destroyed here, but who cares it’s a forum for conversation about this game we love. So here it is!
Suns trade: #4 and #28
To
Nuggets for #7 and #15
Now I think the Suns need a lot more potential than what they have right now and I personally see some opportunity for steals this draft that they won’t need a top pick to get that type of potential here. #7-Skal, #13-Maker, #15 Malachi Richardson. Now I think they will eventually trade either of their starting caliber PG to get a quality starting SF or future picks. Chandler will teach the young guys the ropes of being a big man in the NBA and hope one of them pan out with all the potential they are oozing. As for Malachi, he has amazing size and has an opportunity to be a great 3 and D guy.
The Nuggets do this for a great opportunity of pairing Mudiay with #4-Jamal Murray to have a backcourt that compliments each other perfectly Imo. #28-Daniel Hamilton is a great size SG/SF prospect who has a good pull up game which is important for a scorer off the bench.

MopgrassParticipantI agree that there are some draft steals. Of course, the NBA knows what it’s doing and will take most of the “steals” earlier than what we anticipate.
Steals (guys I think are rated too low):
Dejounte Murray
Thon Maker
Timothy Luwawu
Skal Labisierre
Malik Newman (maybe)
Taurean PrinceOvervalued (guys rated a little high for me)
Dragan Bender (I just got negged. Good, not great.)
Denzel Valentine (non-translatable skills)
Henrey Ellenson (too many other good PF’s in draft)
Malachi Richardson (I want another year of college)Even my least favorite guy here I have listed as going 33rd. As for the steals, most people mention Maker, Murray, and Labisierre, but I think many are sleeping on Luwawu. I could see him going as high as 8th or just falling out of the lottery at worst. I think he’s the most well-rounded SG in the draft and the best defensive SG in the draft.
