Just thinking about my future Celtics pick from the nets next year. Nets will be undoubtedly the worst team in the NBA next year. 76ers have young talent and a GM who will want to win some games the Lakers will get a top pick and a couple of decent free agents. Can’t see any impact players going to the nets. Front offices is in chaos. No other team looks like it will take a step back toward them. The nets are going to stink. Thanks Billy King love you for life .lol

Well. They might not have the worst record but they definitely would appear to have the most difficult path back to contention of all the bad teams in the league right now.

As a Celtics fan I would hope so too. I expect them to be near the bottom but with some Good veterans they won’t be the worst. Lopez and Young are a good combo. Hollis Jefferson and Bogdonavic both improved a lot. They just need come guard help and they will be decent.

Yeah Brooklyn is going to be bad for a while. Their owner/GM done gone messed up.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. They shouldn’t try to get the upper echelon FAs. It would be a waste of time and NBA guys are sensitive to who is recruting them the hardest…real silly but I digress.

I’d go hard after Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, Lance Stephenson, Jeff Green…I’m sure there are some others too but guys who have been on winning teams and might rather sign a deal with a team where they can either rebuild value or put up good numbers. You won’t become a contender with these players but you can flip them for picks or young assets

If anything, from an owner’s perspective, it puts butts in the seats. 29 teams aren’t winning the championship next year, might as well make the best of a bad situation and try to elbow crawl your way out of this massive hole.
