zolaParticipantTurkish prospect Omer Yurtseven (6-11, 230) has committed to NC State, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN. Yurtseven decided to not sign a pro-contract with Fenerbahce to play in the NCAA next season. In his final game in the U18 Championship in Turkey he had 91 points and 28 rebounds
Nice addition for Wolfpack

ncballerThere are some questions about his NCAA eligibility, if cleared though he is a huge addition to the pack. He and Dennis will have a ton of responsibility placed on them from the getgo.

connybucketsParticipantDamn right he is. He will give us more frontcourt depth and if Abu stays he won’t have to shoulder to much responsibility on offense. GO STATE!!!

GBeeParticipantDidn’t his old coach already throw him under the bus saying that he’s taken money for the last 3 years?
Sounds like another Kanter situation.
NC State was an odd choice. Gottfried sucks. I thought Utah was clearly the better choice. Better coaching staff, better system for developing bigs, but I don’t think int’l players know enough about the college game to recognize stuff like that.
