Watching this game has my mind blown. The Thunder are so freakishly talented but have no organization at all. They literally just throw up wild shots all game long. The only time they get a good look is when Durant or Westbrook finds an open shooter or in the fastbreak. You can’t even call it "iso" basketball because that would require clearing out. They literally just jack up random shots. Despite that they are so good the bad shots still fall and Westbrook’s inhuman pull up jump shot is a thing of beauty and ungaurdablr which has them leading the Spurs in the 3rd quarter in San Antonio.

If they could learn a basic offense and run that offense they would literally be unstoppable.

take him out in the 3rd quarter and the Spurs go on an 8-0 run, pull to within 1. Put him back in the 4th, OKC up 5. He is everywhere on the court right now.

But I think I’ve seen him take 4 or 5 contested 3 pointers in the first 14 seconds of the shotclock in the 2nd half alone. They should stick to running Durant and Westbrook through screens to give them open midrange looks.

has missed some KD post up entries too. But with Adams/Ibaka frontcourt they have great reb and defense but no post offense.

that offensive foul on Waiters inbounding the ball.. sad that the refs didn’t see it.. Oh well, the Spurs didn’t play well at all at the exception of Aldridge and Thunders barely escaped.

Im rooting for OKC and thats probably why i feel this way but Ginobili was too close and he flopped. They got the ball anyways and weren’t able to score though they would have most likely gotten a better look off the inbound. Durant was fouled also.

That was a foul but, shouldn’t the inbounder have been given more space? Watching the video again, it was clear that Ginobili stepped on the inbound line, and that should have been a delay of game.

So many things wrong with that last play. Seemed like a 5 second violation, Ginobli didnt give the inbounder 3 feet of space, Waiters foul on the inbound, Green fouled Durant on the turnover, then with numbers in transition the Spurs elected to take a 3 by Patty Mills when they were only down by 1. Bad basketball there.

Patty Mills played a horrific game missing bad shots all game.

Aldridge is an amazing playoff performer and always has been. Its nice to see him on a contender.

This series is starting to heat up. Great game and series and I expect it to be 2-2 when they go back to San Antonio.

Thuder offense is maybe the the worst in the NBA. They take up like 10 seconnds in the clock to set up a clear out play!! And then either Durant or Westbrook would have 6-8 seconds left to do their thing, not enough time to swing the ball around when a double team comes. And they do it everytime. It’s frustrating to watch because you know they can do SO much better.

When I saw Waiters inbounding the ball I knew madness was about to begin, he was the perfect candidate for a huge choke job but they got lucky

wasn’t he formerly known as I-block-A.  Not even a huge fan of Aldridge but he is eating up that Zimbabwe-Chicken.

I HATE his game.  He is a guy that should’ve developed his low post presence, but he wants to play run and gun with Durant and Westbrook and thinks he should fill the void Harden left.

Ibaka is African, and I’m sorry, he has no business sitting out on the 3 point line jacking up 3 pointers and not establishing himself downlow.

I hate the new NBA with hybrid guys like Ibaka and Kevin Love sitting on the perimeter shooting 3s, and then acting like they’re tough, aggressive, cheering hard when they get on the floor.  Your game is NOT tough, why do you act tough?

I think Ibaka is a fake.  I think it goes back to the Dalembert-type foreigner who wants to be that KG-esque NBA star, but instead of embracing his being different (a la Tim Duncan), he just wants to be that baller that caters to the crowd, and plays that style too, which is why I am frustrated while still typing this out.

Man up, play tough in the post, get dirty, then scowl.  Not after you shoot a bad 3 and then get on the floor for a board.  Disgusted.

I honestly don’t think he wants to play that role. Neither does Love. It’s just like Love he’s playing with 2 superstars. Do you think they’d actually feed him the ball in the post? It’s more that coaches are forcing these bigs, like Ibaka or Love, who have a decent jumpshot have that be their primary role, even if they have strengths elsewhere.

         its so hard to watch?

I love Tristan Thompson besides the fact that he can’t shoot but thats how a big man should play.

I love Diaw’s game but Diaw’s IQ is off the charts, he’s a GREAT passer in addition to just shooting 3s.

I guess "my era" was Knicks Oakley, Mason, Larry Johnson, throw in a Kevin Willis.

I even prefer David West’s game so much more than Love and Ibaka.  I just don’t want my big men out there on the perimeter, I want the men back in the NBA, I would love Oakley to slap some of these guys in the face.

OKC needs to feed their big men, have them develop skills, like Adams offense has regressed not advanced and I dont’ think he’s as bad as Rodman offensively.  Even Birdman played the supportive role but was banging downlow for a skinny whiteguy.

I blame Westbrook 100% for their style of play.  Also the GM, bringing in clowns like Dion Waiters.

Even though I hate Boxtop on Cleveland’s game becaus I think he’s a perennial loser that played on the loser Knicks with Melo and JR Smith, I thought that sort of defensive role was needed on OKC, not another loser undersized guard that thinks he’s MJ or Kobe like Waiters.  I woudl’ve taken Thompson in that trade, not Waiters.  Also woudln’t have signed Randy Foye and Anthony Morrow but rather have spent the money on guys that would actually contribute to the team and play within a system.

Everyone on that team is young and dumb.

I watched Durant at Texas like he was my son.  I loved his game.  Its a shame that I hate watching them play now.  He was one of my favorite players.  I was close to buying a Supersonics jersey his rookie season because I thought he was going to be GREAT.  But I know Westbrook’s athleticism is great and all, but man, just personally, its Unwatchable basketball, I’d rather watch men’s gymnastics.

(sort of feel that way about Brandon Ingram).

anyone who is an OKC fan mesmerizes me.  What about that team do you like?  There is no beauty to their game.  Its psychotic, as has been described well above.  How can you possibly root for that team.  If I was on the street I MIGHT root for OKC, but this is not NBA ball.

I think Durant will leave if he’s smart, and Billy Donovan will get out, because man its gotta be frustrating watching Westbrook play the game with no IQ.

OKC will definitely lose this series, they hit all their shots today and still barely escaped with a win.  Then Durant and Donovan should both jump ship if they’re smart.  I would hate to play with Westbrook I’m sorry.  Can’t get any semblance of an offense going with him.

By the way, not that there’s any negativity pointed at him from my end, but Westbrook has to be gay?  No?

I’m an ball-IQ guy, meaning I prefer players that are mentally smart and play better in tough situations and aren’t the first to hang their heads and contribute to losing teams.

Carmelo apparently was failing school.  He’s an idiot and doens’t know how to play with a team.  Now he’s claiming he’s a better scorer than Steph Curry?  Yeah…
