     So, this is for all those NBA fans that have been fans for the past 20 years or so… Was Tim Duncan ever used as trade bait? Or any of their big three of Parker and Ginobili and Duncan? I just want to know, because I couldn’t imagine Duncan, or any of those 3 for that matter being on a different team. So, anyone with knowledge?

     NO They knew they were gonna bed good for a long time after the finals win, manu was talked about some but not very much

     Parker always seemed to be in trade rumours. The strength of these rumours are unconfirmed because despite his name popping up in trade rumours from time to time nothing concrete has happened. His stock was very high a few years ago.

     The only thing I remember from way back in the day were the rumors that he had accepted a contract with the Orlando Magic in free agency. I think he was a restricted free-agent at the time and the Spurs matched the offer. 

    Trade rumors though? I don’t remember anything of the sort.

     I don’t remember TD ever in trade rumors but yeah I remember he was super close to signing with Orlando the same year Grant Hill and T-Mac did. I think the rumor was he basically accepted one and David Robinson, who was on vacation, had to go talk him out of it. 

    Just think how much different things would be if Orlando would’ve had Duncan, T-Mac and a healthy Hill. Wow.
