valentineOn this play, Kevin Love and LeBron James switch as Marcus Morris picks up Love. Morris then proceeds to grab and looks like he appeared to try to break Love’s arm and toss him to the ground. This was just a personal foul, and was not reviewed. Did Marcus Morris try to Break Kevin Love’s arm?

trapgamesolidParticipantI can’t say he deliberately tried to break his arm. I just think he’s a hot head like his brother and started to get worked up with Love’s physicality inside. Definitely a dirty though.
I just think overall, Detroit lacks maturity and class to move forward as a up and coming young team. You can look at Reggie Jackson’s comments about the refs yesterday and Stanley Johnson’s comments about Lebron.
If you’re looking to be recognized as a good hard nosed young team, why do you seek so much attention and throw immature temper tantrums every time you get a chance?
Maybe they’re trying to replicate the Bad boys image that Detroit had in the past, but so far their actions and attitude just comes off as ignorant and childish.

JoeWolf1That’s honestly pretty clean compared to some of Lambieer, Mahorn, and Rodman’s physical plays.
He clearly shoved him off, but he’s not a freaking MMA fighter. That wasn’t some intentional arm bar, they were just kind of tangled, and Morris threw him off. Clearly a foul, not even sure if I’d consider it a dirty play, doubt he was intentionally trying to break his arm. People get shoved, if you shove someone, just don’t do it when they’re in the air, and be prepared to get a foul called on you.
I think it’s a combination of basketball not being as physical as it was back then, and them not being the best team in the world. When you’re one of the best teams in the world, then you’re brash, if you’re an 8 seed in the East and a clear notch below the NBA elite, it just doesn’t read the same way. Perception is key.
I think Detroit is going to be really good in the next couple years.

circumlocution75ParticipantI think it Feels worse b/c Love was Injured this time last year on that fluke play against the Celtics where he separated his shoulder…….
It’s rough in the paint….. These guys are battling down there & I’m ok w/ the Refs letting these guys play…… Playoff basketball is a Grind……. but you Never want to see anyone get Hurt…….

MatosParticipantI remember saying the same thing watching this play. When you think about what Kelly Olynyk did to K-Love last year in the playoffs, it makes you think.

ZachAttackParticipantDefinitely not intentional… He was just trying to "outmuscle" him… But I highly doubt anyone in the NBA intentionally will break another player’s arm… But I guess, I’m not positive on that, I just doubt it. But that one definitely wasn’t intentional.
